Eagle ridge
It’s a good course, not what it use to be. When the traps are in good shape they influence the entire round. Now they don’t. It was a lot harder to get out of when they had “real” sand in them. Now they are empty holes in the ground with hard pan.
Great value / Need sand trap help
Greens are in great shape. Course is also well tended to. Value there at $33 a round. Only one problem — the sand traps are cement. Been in disrepair for years. It is imperative the course invest some money and add sand.
Another good day to be here.
Like the lay outs. There are some area being repaired (fairways). The greens are slow because of aerification but no more sand. A couple more weeks should be perfect. We will come back again.
Mostly perfect
Great course. Very fun. Only problem was the sand. It is absolutely unacceptable for the bunkers to be in the condition they were in. It’s even more confusing because the rest of the course was wonderfully maintained.
Pretty nice course
Not in ad good condition as it was last year! Bunker are under repair and rough is not as well kept up as last year. Fairways and greens are good but greens were just sanded so let’s see how they respond? I still like the course but the bunkers need to be addressed soon?
Fairways and greens are good but the bunkers need to be redone soon!
they were just sanded so let’s see how they turn out
Aerated Greens with mounds of sand.
A little disappointed there was no notification of the greens being aerated. Wouldn't be that big of a deal for the price we paid except, the enormous amount of sand on the greens. The sand traps have no sand and looks like they just gave up on any maintenance of the bunkers.
Great experience w/ only 1 drawback
Booked a Friday noon time hotdeal for me and a buddy. 3 days of rain kept the crowds away, but didn't spoil the course too bad. The greens rolled well, and fairways were passable. My ONLY complaint is that about half of the bunkers were completely full of water. Now, of course lots of rain will make it hard to keep them pristine, but this is not a flat course and it has several creeks running through it. I feel that if you are going to have deep bunkers, you should add enough drainage to keep the puddles small. As is, if your shot went into the bunker, it was lost.
Again though, this is my only complaint, otherwise we had a great day. We'll be back
Great cours, one of my all time favorites. Once they establish the sand traps . They will rate with top courses in Bay Area.
Keep an eye on your ball...
This course has good challenging holes on the front and back. The rough is cut high enough to hide your golf ball so keep an eye on it. The bushes are very thick and you will wish you had a chainsaw if your ball jumps to it. The sand traps are in real bad shape so stay away. Fairways are good and wide on some holes. Watch out for the road off the tee on hole 17.
Won’t go back for a while
Sad looking bunkers. Wet dirt, no sand at all. Should be marked as ground under repair.
No marshal to enforce a proper pace. We were stuck behind 3 drunk people that had no consideration for others. At one point 3 groups were waiting behind them.
Bunkers need help
Love this course but their bunkers have been in brutal condition for a long time. Seriously need to bring in a few dozen truckloads of sand. Other than that we had a great day. Fairways and greens were in good shape.
Eagle
Course condition is 8 out of 10
Greens 7 out of 10 somewhat slow
Traps are by far the worst ever, like trying to hit off concrete, just like RidgeMark
Bunkers
These have to be the worst bunkers I have ever seen. No sand. No upkeep. Shame to charge these rates with no course Marshall
