Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course

Indian Canyons South has much to offer and should be at or near the top of the list for anyone planning a golf trip to Palm Springs.

There are certainly harder courses out there, some that are even more meticulously maintained and more than a few that will cost you less. But dollar for dollar, stroke for stroke, view for view, there is no course out there that can match the beauty, value and pure enjoyment of this wonderful course. Top it off with a remarkable and friendly staff and this place is one you just cannot afford to miss. Highly recommend!

Course is in great shape. Pace of play was very good. A beautiful layout. Friendly staff.

So slow. Expensive and sometimes 4 foursomes on one hole. Ridiculous

Indian Canyons South is a beautiful course in a natural desert setting. The views of the mountains and of the Washington Skirted palms are fabulous. The course is in pristine condition. Golf carts work well. Staff is courteous and efficient. A wonderful golfing experience!

Best maintained course of four I have played in the valley, so far, this golf trip. Excellent greens, fairways, rough and tees. Bunkers have lots of sand and are well raked. Very enjoyable round on a great golf course. Congratulations to all staff for providing such a great experience. We will definitely be back.

This is my second or third time on the South Course at Indian Canyon. Every time I have found the people to be great and the course to be in excellent condition and beautiful. My tee time as set for about 7:30 AM and I was going out as a single. The others that I was supposed to join were no-shows, so they let me go out on my own rather than waiting for an hour for another opening. I played in about 2 1/2 hours and enjoyed every minute. The only thing I would change about this golf course is the speed of the greens. They were med-slow. But the overall condition was excellent and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommended.

I have played this course several times and enjoy the challenge of the course along with the pristine conditions.

I was very disappointed with the starter.He was no where to be seen. When he finally showed up He asked if We ever played here before I said yes and that was the end of the conversation. He proceeded to talk with one of his coworkers about the working conditions at the course. Totally unprofessional and Obviously not interested in making sure we as a foursome knew everything about the course. It was very disappointing intro to Indian Canyons , especially since I had invited friends to play the course for the first time.

I am not sure why he was there as he showed no interest.

Thank goodness I knew the course. Obviously the golfers in front of us were never told that there was a separate key to the washrooms as they broke the cart key off in the washroom door. They phoned and had to wait for someone to bring another key to the cart..

This is the only course we play when we come to Palm Springs. The fairways are in super shape and easy to hit off, there are no bare spots, and the greens run true.

Today was my second round at the South Course at Indian Canyon in Palm Springs. Like the first round, today was excellent. The course condition was excellent. Lush fairways, playable but challenging rough and greens that are quick but fair. I would strongly recommend this for moderate to skilled golfers looking for a beautiful, fun course.

We haven’t planned the South Course for a couple years and it did not disappoint! Beautiful shape the staff is still first class and you feel welcome and appreciated from the bag drop to the restaurant.
