About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Beautful Public Course in the Desert
Hot Sept Day. 102 outside and sunny. Played the course in 4hrs 15 min even when we were behind a scramble best ball tournament that we didnt know about. The course is open with plenty of tees boxes for all level. The grounds are well taken care of even n the hot temperatures. Driving range and putting was great too. Enjoyed the day just wish it was a lot cooler.
Great day on the course
It was a hot day in Palm Springs. Our booked tee time was delayed about 20 minutes because they were so busy. for the first five holes we had to wait at the tee block for the group ahead of us to tee off. On the back 9 we were not held up at all. The course is in very nice shape and quite challenging for me (usually shoot around 90 - 95). I shot 104. Got myself into a couple of nasty sand traps and a couple of water hazards. Fun round and would definitely go there again.
Great Course
Course was in excellent condition for end of September. Nice layout with a mixture of easy and challenging holes. Will definitely play here again.

One of our favorites
We make sure to play this course every time we come to Palm Springs. It is a popular course so we can expect a relatively slow round but there are enough trees to find shade when you are waiting. The course was in great shape and the greens were smooth and moderately fast. We started as a two-some and joined another two-some a few holes in. That made the waits between holes not seem so long. The course is relatively short from the middle and forward tees so that helps a bit with the pace of play. We will play it again for sure.

The course was in speaking tular condition. From m tee to green it was perfect. Would recommend to anyone

Good conditions for summer
I have played this course before at this time of year but this is the best I have seen it at this time of year. There were a number of groups ahead of us and behind us but the pace of play I thought was very good we finished our round in just over three hours and 15 minutes . I would definitely play this course again at this time of year .

My favorite Course in PS
A hot day in the desert spent playing golf on a gem of a course. Plenty of shade and water on this course to
keep you refreshed as you negotiate the 18 picturesque holes.
It was a bargain today with breakfast or lunch thrown into the rate.
Fun, fun, fun!
The year-effort to rebuild the bunkers is almost complete. The course is in very good shape and the greens roll true. Arguably, some of the best views in the valley are at Indian Canyons. A challenging but fun course to play!
A gem
The second time was better than the first, and I didn't think that was possible. The course offers a challenge at every tee box. I played the red the first time, and the whites the second. Great at both lengths.
