Revere Golf Club - Concord Course

At the end of our round the cart attendant gave us the back story on why the golf course was virtually unplayable. Was not told the state of the course beforehand. Turns out Concord has not been overseeded, which explains the painted fairways and slick false fronts. Steep fairways resulted in 150 yard roll backs off the green. Very slow pace of play and steady wind only added insult to injury. Meanwhile, Lexington is apparently in fantastic shape.

The course was fun but fair with extreme elevation changes. Winter conditions made the fairways flat and tight. Paint was used to color the grass and came off on golf balls. Pace was nearly 5 hours. Would like to play this course in the spring when fairways have new growth.

Very friendly staff, nice pro shop, good layout, but not in the best of shape. No sand in bunkers, no one fixes divots, some very bare areas in fairway, pace of play was slow

I was supposed to play the Concord course but the Person in the Pro Shop, after I checked in and started to walk away, he asked me if I was from out of town. I was, so he asked if I wanted to play the Lexington Course because he had an opening and said it was in better shape and I would really enjoy it. I played Concord when I was there 11 months earlier, so I said yes. Lots of elevation changes, sidehill lies, wonderful views and overall a GREAT experience. I went back into the Pro Shop after finishing and thanked the Young Man again for suggesting I played Lexington. The only bad part was I was joined with a group of six and another single. We were the second group off and we ended up skipping a hole because the other group was slow (almost 3 hours to play 10 holes. After we passed them, we played the last 7 holes in an hour and 15 minutes which gave me time to go back and play #11 before it was too dark. Will definitely go back there again!

Course in bad shape. Shouldn't be changing the money we paid for these conditions. They closed the course for oversees, what did they do?

Had a great round of golf here. Super well manicured course with breathtaking views and very challenging layout. Will play again, soon!

This course is beautiful, challenging, and affordable. Additionally, the staff has always been pleasant.

Loved the elevated tee boxes, friendly staff and pace of play. They actually have a marshal that makes sure golfers play at the correct pace.

Greens were TERRIBLE, full of ball marks, fairways need water and ruff was dead

We have played this (and Lexington) many times over the years, so not a surprise. Have generally enjoyed the track and the experience. Decent maintenance for winter growth,. We teed off at 12:38. Pace of play was a problem… waited most holes, Quit on 16 because of the wait… 17 had 3 groups on it, 18 had four! No Marshall, although one kind gentleman passed through and inquired, but nothing seemed to be done to speed it up. It was getting cold and the sun had dropped below the yardarm and it might have taken an hour to finish except that others were also bailing. Unacceptable and disappointing.

Greens were terrible, full of ball marks, fairways were dry and grass was not green, also rough was dead, I did enjoy the layout, course needs some work.

A lot of the fairways had a lot of dead grass, a lot of the tea boxes were sketchy at best, course condition was terrible
