About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Great Course
The course:
- great layout
- greens smooth & fast like I like them
- tee boxes were in good condition
- bunkers fair & good

Great course with the best staff!
Most friendly staff from check in to the cart shack. So accommodating in all aspects to make an enjoyable day. Top the day of with a outstanding club house for a cold one.
Great course
Course was in great shape. Fairway could use a cutting, but I get it, new grass. Greens were rolling nice too. Pace was excellent but then again we were about the third group out and the foursome in front us quit after 9.

Still Needs Another Week or So
First day of carts back on fairways (90* as of 8-Nov.), making pace-of-play much more acceptable (than with Cart Path Only). Fairways were coming-in nicely, though mowing is needed, as there was little roll with the driver. Greens were lush, though still need time for their speed to improve. Sand traps were in good condition (unfortunately I found a few … thus first-hand knowledge). Give it 7-10 days more time and it should be in great playing condition.
Greens and tee boxes were in excellent shape, fairways just average. Cart path only for carts made it tough for an old guy like me but I assume that was because of recent over seeding.
Lone tree is alone
Fairways descent greens slow. Rough terrible there u go up to u if u wanna play
