About
del Lago Golf Club sits at an elevation of 3,400 feet, enjoying a temperature that is five degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer, which makes a big difference under the hot Arizona sun. Winding through the hills and valleys of the high desert, the golf course features over 120 feet of elevation changes that present tricky uneven lies. The dramatic undulations also offer beautiful views of the Rincon and Santa Catalinas Mountain ranges. Golfers start at the highest point on the course and then play down into the valley before getting to the back nine, which plays along the Pantano Wash. The first hole is the only forced carry on the course, the remaining holes are friendlier off the tees. Seven lakes dot the golf course, coming into play on six holes, and there is also heavy bunkering around the greens.

4 Seniors
Need to add a course layout map on the score card or give a course layout book with score card. Greens are terrible. Looks like they got over run with weeds. Lots of trash around the course. Lack of trash can at tees & water stations. Tee’s were not level.. It’’s a $50 course tops not $70+. Need to keep kids off the course during play.

Nice course
Overall this was a great course. The layout was fair but challenging. The only drawback was slow play, but that is too be expected for a Saturday.

Del Lago
Greens and fairways in above average condition. Rough matted and very hard in spite of recent rains. Bunkers are in poor condition. Rock hard and rocky. Recommend free drop out of bunkers.

Course in good condition ! Cart paths are in terrible condition hope their are plans to improve !

Overall nice course, but sand traps are too rocky and hard on my blades. Also, some of the cart paths pretty rough. Constructive criticism here.
Tee boxes were OK, fairways were great, and greens were decent.
A solid 4 out of 5 in my book.

Everything was great but the bunkers
All the other reviews about the bunkers are spot on. Don’t bother hitting from the bunkers. Too many rocks/gravel. Not worth damaging your clubs.
Layout is great. Had a lot of fun. Greens rolled well. Not as fast as course we played day before but that was like putting on a pool table. Del Lago greens more playable.
Might be worth $80/round in spring when it’s all green. I would play again for right price.
