About
del Lago Golf Club sits at an elevation of 3,400 feet, enjoying a temperature that is five degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer, which makes a big difference under the hot Arizona sun. Winding through the hills and valleys of the high desert, the golf course features over 120 feet of elevation changes that present tricky uneven lies. The dramatic undulations also offer beautiful views of the Rincon and Santa Catalinas Mountain ranges. Golfers start at the highest point on the course and then play down into the valley before getting to the back nine, which plays along the Pantano Wash. The first hole is the only forced carry on the course, the remaining holes are friendlier off the tees. Seven lakes dot the golf course, coming into play on six holes, and there is also heavy bunkering around the greens.

Need your complete game.
Just fun. Some great opportunities to let out the shaft and hit the ball. Accuracy important. Good length on the par threes. Some risky carries. Not the toughest i he ever played but definitely a joy. Makes you earn your pars and birdies are hard to come by. I will be back.

Fast Greens
We have played this course many times and todays conditions were about as good as it gets. Only problem were the extremely fast greens. some the pin placements made downhill putts almost impossible to stop near the hole.. On more than one occasion even a light tap resulted in the ball going ten feet past. More familiarity with the course would have help.

Nice track
First time playing the course. Played with two guys at hole 9..they live on the course. They were very nice and helpful. Starter..from Brooklyn was great and helpful. Groups in front very low. Played first 9 in less than hour and half..second nine over 2 and half hours.

Fully enjoyed this course.
First time playing. Have played other quality desert courses and found this one to be the most enjoyable. All the holes had character. I didn't face a bunch of forced carries off the tee and played the right tees for me so greens were reachable with 7 iron or less. Greens were generously large and not all tabletops. .

Del Lago
Fairways and greens were good. Tee boxes below average. Bunkers were terrible and there's alot of them. Basically gravel.
