Excellent conditions but hard greens

A must try once even with the hefty price tag. Greens are very very tricky. But remember. Everything goes towards the ocean. If you spray be prepared to lose balls.

Manny is the best

Manny made my day start off perfect gave us all the info we needed and was great conversation. Got teed off st 740 just as a twosome with a fried. Finished in 4 hours barely caught group in front at hole 15. Beer views beer facility best everything and I golf everywhere. I’ll be back this next Tuesday same time

It was beautiful course. It does have public trail along the course so it was bit noisy as people walk by.

Also it was windy from 3 pm to 6 pm and when wind die down, it was the sun right in front of your face which made it harder to swing facing bright sun. Most hole lay out was east to west. However food, especially the hamburger at club house was excellent.

Liked everything about this course. Greens were a little rough and slow from 10 day old aeration.. But, everything else has to be considered excellent.

Trump National!

Can’t complain about lost balls or errant shots when your view is this spectacular! Every hole has a view of the pacific and Catalina island. VERY tough & challenging back 9. People were amazing, helpful, professional and top-tier! For a “public” GC, it’s worth it! There was course aeration, so the greens & some fairways were punched, but I can imagine how immaculate the course must be in too shape. Wonderful Day!

This course was breathtaking even with the aerification being done. It was handled with professionalism and thoughtfulness to golfers that still play when the work was going on. I will for sure be back once the course has time to heal to play it at the course’s full potential.
