Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Park (formerly known as Coldwater Golf Club) boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Park also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

It’s coming back

I played Coldwater back in November/December. I wrote it off. It was in horrible shape.

Well friends ask me to play there today and to my surprise it was in way better shape. Don’t get me wrong there are still some rough spots on tee boxes and greens. However from where it was until now I have to give credit.

Pace of play was slow.

Much better condition this year

Greens had some bare spots that were much faster which made for some challenges getting the speed right.

Tee boxes needed some work but did not make a difference in scoring.

Fairways were soft and in good shape. They are absolutely putting in the effort to make Coldwater a course that will attract as it did in the past.

Could be the best deal in the entire valley

Great course, played on a Tuesday at 11:33 as a 2 ball and finished under 3.5 hours. Fairways and greens were solid and the tee boxes are coming along. For the price and the conditions this might be the best deal in the valley. Clubhouse is solid and the fellas in the shop are first class. Will be back to plant my egg.

Greens need work

The course it self is a fun lay out but the greens are terrible and it was a busy in the area and i paid $124 a round. Way to much for that course.

Nice fairway's and greens. Desert everywhere else

Shot personal best with No double bogies. Forgiving layout if you have a beater club in your bag for tight lies in desert hard pan.
