Sundance Golf Club

Course is usually in good condition. Pace of play can be slow but not on this day. Done in 3hrs 45mins. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Green were fast, rolled true. Pay attention on the greens as they have subtle undulations.

Not sure what’s happening, but the past few times golfing at Sundance we’ve noticed several carts breaking down on the course - even happened to our playing partners. Not only is it a nuisance when carts are being left on the fairways, it’s also impacting pace of play for groups waiting for a replacement cart to be sent out or having to unload the cart to start walking. Other than the cart issues, the course is in really good shape.

Great course at reasonable price.

Only downside was lack of Cart Girl and no water in the ball washers.

Did not have enough carts charged no ranger to monitor the pace a play took 3 hours to play back 9

50 minutes delay on tee time and no cart available until you’re next on 1st tee box. Seems to be a recurring problem at Sundance. Pace of play was ok until we caught up with an 8-some on 16th. No ranger in view

Staff are friendly and helpful. Course is back open and NOT cart path only!! Greens are not as fast as they're going to be, but faster than others I've played right after overseed. Fairways have some spots to grow in, but overall course condition is good. Pace of play was decent. Saw the ranger frequently. Did a nice job of keeping things moving.

The layout puts almost every club in your bag into play. Some target golf & carrying over desert landscape.

Feedback, cart attendant had no food other than cookies. I then went to golf shop to purchase snacks they had none. I also went into new dinner area to purchase snacks and they had nothing as well. I have been playing golf for over 35 years and have never been to a golf course where I could not purchase chips, snack bars, sandwich or wraps to go. Food beverage manager is losing money for the course, just my opinion.

I had a 11:38 tee time and the very friendly guy behind the counter said go whenever you want. There were 3 groups waiting to tee off on #1. It was pretty much at your discretion of when you should go. It would have been very helpful to have had a starter. Most of the people there knew how the system works so we did good about waiting for the group in front to clear which worked out but it was backed up the rest of the 4 1/2 after that. All in all though the course was great

We had an 11:54 tee time. Was told when we arrived that they were “waiting on golf carts” before we could start our round. We warmed up and came back and the pro shop said they were still waiting to give carts to the 11:14 tee group! It was going to be at least 50 minutes before we would get carts. Finally asked for a credit on my round and we left. What a complete farce! Will tell friends to stay away unless you are very early day tee time.

There was a shortage of golf carts and we teed off about 1 hour late, as a result. Due to the lack of a starter, we witnessed people at their worst, as one foursome, cut into the cart lineup, and at the expense of all other golfers, took 2 carts from the cart barn, out of turn further delaying everyone else.

My wife and I have been members for several years at Sundance and play here frequently during the fall and winter months. The owner and management are doing their best to discourage annual memberships. Right now there are no starters or marshalls and members are having to pay for using their own power carts and using the ones that the club has. The course conditions are the same this year as they have been in the past.

Like the course, pins were tough1 cart died and got replaced. The second died and didnt get replaced. We called the club house but no one never came. We had to walk and push the bad cart with the good cart
