About
Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Great course for the money
This is a fun course. Course was in good condition. Greens were great. The staff was very friendly and the course is somewhat forgiving. Overall fun Experience.
Good course, challenge getting to first tee
It's always something trying to get off the first tee at Sundance. This time it was a tournament they were running, causing my tee time to get pushed back 40 minutes.
Grueling slow pace of play
I really like this course. It is one of my go to places to play. The pace of play was so slow on this mid-day Saturday round that you just really could not get any continuity with your play due to waiting so long in between shots. When we came to the tenth tee there was the group ahead of us still waiting to tee off, a group out in the fairway and another group further down the fairway (par5), I had had enough of playing the waiting game and decided to head home. One other thing about this course is that the conditions on the grass driving range are consistently poor, with almost no turf to hit off of. They need to figure this out, as there a many other places I play who have figured out how to properly rotate their hitting areas so you are hitting off of grass.
Bad experience
No golf carts available until right before the tee time which has become common for the course . Pace was horrible. Waited at every hole and several for 10 minutes or more. Way too many golfers. Started at 1:32 and made it to 14 before it was too dark to see the ball.
Great Shape
Course was in great shape and it looks like they have been making some upgrade’s. Refinishing some bunkers and work still going on in Clubhouse and restaurant. Golfed at noon and course wasn’t real busy so our pace was great. Probably coming back again to try and improve our scores.
Wednesday at Sundance
Good staff. Easy to get a cart, rangeballs close, etc. Greens good. Back nine fun. Overall very good value.
We love playing at Sundance, We drive 45 minutes just to play there. Friendly staff and challenging course.
