Wolf Creek Golf Course

Fairways don't appear to be getting proper maintenance. There are weeds and various grasses on each fairway. Not smooth at all. Several bald tee boxes as well as fairway spots. The layout and green designs and nice and challenging. The course needs better maintenance overall.

The staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The course itself has a great layout with water coming into play in several holes and liked the elevation changes. Unfortunately, the course is in pretty bad shape. Many of the tee boxes are bare and the fairways are either browned out or have weeds in them or uneven grass. The greens are in pretty good shape, overall, except one of the Par 3’s.

But even that, it doesn’t really make up for the tee boxes/fairway condition.

We were told they’ve received a lot of rain lately and that’s impacted the ability to cut grass. Be prepared, there’s no cart girl, nor even a kitchen so eat before you arrive. Also, no beer or liquor sold on the premises.

They got about 2 inches of rain 3-4 days before we were there. Still cart path only and driving range was closed. Plenty of wet spots still on the course so cart path only is what they needed. It's just that the course doesn't drain well. Tee box's are in really bad shape, fairways need help, but the Greens are really good except one. We never saw a greens keeper or mower or anyone working on the course. It's such a great layout that it's a shame to see this golf course in such bad shape. We will keep playing it because the price for the course was good. just make sure it hasn't rained for a few days before we play again.

Conditions were challenging, as previous rainfall had left the course with muddy areas, especially in the sand traps. Greens were somewhat slow for putting but very firm on approach shots, causing a lot of balls to bounce over the greens. Nevertheless, the course is greening up well and should be in great condition shortly.

Brutally slow and I’m told that’s normal. Course condition was what I’ve gotten used to from standard Atlanta courses. Not good.

Course in good shape but a little wet in fairways. 2 green's were bad but the other's were okay. I like the course and will be back but when it is dry.

Have played this course a few times and seemingly has gone very downhill from last time I played about 4 years ago. Tee boxes in bad shape, fairways not much better. Greens were fine but a little slow. No cart girl or water. Rough course overall and would avoid unless lower than $30 a round. Would rather play CP9 down the road.

Great layout. Long and challenging. Back 9 helps to come your scorecard because the front 9 is a monster.

Need to make sure golf carts are fully charged had getting up the hills

This used to be one of my favorite courses. I hadn’t played it for a couple of years and it just wasn’t in good shape. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in pretty bad shape. I understand that it’s winter but it needs a lot of work.

The bunkers are in extremely bad shape. You can't play out of them...none of them. Maintenance around the greens is getting worse. Too many weeds in the fringe, or just sand. If the new owners are not going to put money in it, why keep playing there?

Some of the tee boxes was just dirt. The greens was bumpy and slow. Some of the fairways was dried mud. I’m hoping when spring comes that all grass will grow back. At this present time I would not play wolf creek because of the over conditions.
