Wolf Creek Golf Course

The bunkers are in extremely bad shape. You can't play out of them...none of them. Maintenance around the greens is getting worse. Too many weeds in the fringe, or just sand. If the new owners are not going to put money in it, why keep playing there?

Some of the tee boxes was just dirt. The greens was bumpy and slow. Some of the fairways was dried mud. I’m hoping when spring comes that all grass will grow back. At this present time I would not play wolf creek because of the over conditions.

The course was wet from overnight rain but drained pretty well. The greens were medium fast, and putts rolled well. The only blemishes were small tufts of poa annua on most greens. The course played longer than the yardage because of the wet conditions, which made it a lot tougher than usual. Still an excellent course.

Great design. It doesn’t drain well after rain. Can’t wait until spring to come back.

The course was in good condition. Required a lot of different shots and shot shapes.

Played on January 2nd the course was crowded due to the holiday which we understood and the pace of play wasn’t bad for such a crowd. However, around the 6th hole a torrential rainstorm came that didn’t allow us to finish. When we contacted the clubhouse to get a rain check we were told Golf Now would have to give us a rain check even though we paid the course and not Golf Now. The clubhouse attendant was very short and unprofessional in handling the situation.

We played hours after a storm we didn’t have sense enough to cancel however the operator should have closed for the day.

This 18 hole course is absolutely WONDERFUL! My family and I enjoyed this course so much that I got on the Family Plan and we play weekly!

Wolf Creek is a very challenging course to play on. I really enjoy playing the long Par 5”s. I recommend this course for anyone who likes to play challenging courses. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The greens were recently redone. Already, bare patches and other problems are already showing. Fairways and tee boxes are okay. Some of the bunkers are in very poor shape. Not much in the way of amenities such as food or beverages.

I do hope they get someone for a grounds keeper who knows what they're doing. Otherwise, they'll lose the greens pretty quickly.
