Wolf Creek Golf Course

I’ve played wolf creek many times over the last 15 years. It is in prime condition. They have put money into the course and upgraded a number of bunkers. Fairways are plush, greens roll very well and true. I played as a single on a Monday. Reached a group of 4 on the fourth hole and was marshaled through them immediately. Barely saw another golfer out there the whole day and played in under 2.5 hours. The marshal followed me around the course hyping me up the rest of the day!

Wolf creek is a test. You will need to hit driver on some holes, but a majority of holes do not require it. There are a number of blind shots and forced carries. Greens are firm and will force you to think through your approach.

Come prepared with your own lunch because there are not many food or drink selections.

Stumbled upon the course via golfnow and happen to be in the area. Hidden gem. Fairways were in great condition, greens were slow but rolled true, course was challenging but fair. If fairways were wide open then green was the size of dime, if narrow fairway then green was forgiving. Layout made you think about your shots. Nothing easy but nothing super difficult either. Staff was great. Absolutely loved it. Only recommendations, please put water coolers, and have some additional food options in the pro shop including logo balls!

Played alone at 8:10 on a Thursday and got around in about 2:30. Only played through one group. Course looks good, greens are a tiny bit shaggy, but it rained yesterday so they may not have mowed in a few days. Enjoyed it!

The course is in excellent shape the greens were true and fast. The staff was amazing. I did have a problem though someone broke into my truck and the parking lot of course management did what they could to help with the police to try to catch the perpetrators. I recommend don’t park far from the clubhouse in the parking lot. I think at the very least they could’ve refunded my green fee, but they chose not to.

Love the layout of this course. Very challenging if you cannot hit off the tee and do not know the layout. Wish it was a little bit cheaper to play and then I would recommend playing all of the time. I have played a lot of different courses that are better and cheaper but overall a really fun course to play. The clubhouse and range are okay but not really sure why it cost so much.

Course is in great condition with a super nice staff and great pace of play. Only things lacking are off course amenities, and most notably, drinking water. A cooler of water for sipping every few holes isn’t too much to expect, especially at $80 for a round, right? Other than that it’s a very enjoyable course and definitely recommended. Just be sure to bring enough water.

1st. You can’t drive to the driving range. You have to carry your bag then carry it back to the cart.

2nd. Their online payment app does not work.

3rd. They don’t sell beer or allow you to bring it in.

4th. Pro Shop is poorly merchandised. Not even a logo ball.

5th. Staff is rude from the checkin to the starter.

6th. Driving range is dirt.

Staff is very friendly and the course has all sort of twist and turns. Fun course to play. Most of the times great pace of play unless there is an uncourteous foursome that will not let you pass them.

I don’t know why this course had some bad reviews. Maybe those were old but me and my buddies we played here yesterday and the course is absolutely beautiful. It is well taken care of staff is extremely friendly. The carts are brand new. They probably renewed the cards after some of these reviews, their electric Comfortable seats and have the map on the screen. The reason we played here was because it was close to the airport and we wanted to hit the ground running and it was absolutely worth it. I live about an hour away from the course but honestly, I would make the trip just play here again.

Yesterday was my first time out at Wolf Creek and we could not have asked for a better experience. We had the course to ourselves and the weather was perfect. Grass is in great shape with well manicured fairways and greens. Looks like they just redid all of the bunkers. A lot of tree work wrapping up. Excited to get back out to wolf creek to see how it continues growing in. Would recommend to any level of golfer.
