Wolf Creek Golf Course

Wolf Creek is under new management. Bunkers on the front 9 are under repair. Sand for the bunkers will be added soon. The greens are dormant and fast. This course is a staple in my rotation. Can’t wait to play here in the spring.

The course is very spread out, so there is a lot of real estate in between holes which is odd because it is not in a neighborhood. Perhaps that was the original plan. The greens are very good even though it's February - and they are tough! There is an area at the end of the 9's that introduces a interstate of cart paths that is a bit confusing. You will be challenged at this course.

I’ve played WC many times and course is in bad shape right now. Starting with driving range that has no grass and is all sand. All bunkers on course I would consider ground under repair. Fairways are just OK when you can find a dry spot. Greens just OK. Pace of play super slow. 5 hr round. Much better shape last summer. Layout out is really good. I would say overpriced for winter golf. I hope they can get course back in shape by spring.

The greens are super fast and these geniuses keep putting the pins on side slopes. It’s not fun guys.

I have played Wolf Creek countless times in the last 2 years. I used to really like this course. Recommended it to a lot people. Within the last year I have noticed that the pin placement has become unreasonable. The greens at Wolf Creek are already very small. The greens also have tons of slope, almost like it’s a goofy miniature golf course. So on top of very small greens, a ton of undulation, they place the pin right on an awkward slope. And their greens are fast.

Make the game fun. Your greens are challenging enough already. No need for unreasonable pin placement. Golf is tough enough as it is. You’re a public course. I’m done with wolf creek for a while. The Frog is a fun place to play. Plenty challenging - but a lot more fun. Fair pin placement. Big greens. Not nearly as much undulation. I’ll be playing the frog for a while. No more wolf creek.

They need a Marshall on course, horribly slow players after 5 hrs we quit on no.16

The greens are very nice condition. But they are are hard to read. A lot of slope and holes were in hard location. Several putts stopped going down hill. Over all the course was in decent shape for December late.

For this time of the year the course is maintained very well by the staff. All greens are manicured and rolling fast. Definitely looking to play again.

First time playing here in 7 years.. Traps need to be raked and groomed , otherwise the course was in very good condition. Not a walkable course if that is your "cup of tea" unless you are in very good shape. Lots of elevation changes and 4 or 5 blind tee-shots.

I remember nothing about Wolf Creek from the first time I played here other than the 18th hole, which wrecked a nice score when I posted a 10 on the final hole. That little bit of memory helped me navigate a bogey on this last hole Par 5 layout. If you have not played here before, its beneficial to have someone that has. Because the forcast called for winds of 18 to 22 mph and the temp was in the low 50's , the course was prety empty as locals are use to warmer weather. Being from the North, 53 degrees is ideal. The wind only impacted the Par 3's as I did not club-up enough to reach 2 of the greens.

Earlry in my round there was a maintenance crew blowing leaves off the greens but eventually they gave up as it was a losing battle with Mother Nature's wind. Friendly staff, Recommend playing. I will be back again.

Course was in great shape, and joined another golfer. Rented a descent set of clubs, and electronics on cart were helpful. Would definitely return when back in town

Wolf Creek was a lot better organized than the last time I was there. They have also added GPS to the carts since my last visit.

Pace of play was awful. Staff indifferent attitude toward customers. Not sure I'd go back.
