Victoria Hills Golf Club located in Deland has jaw-dropping beauty. Golfers will appreciate Roland Garl's vigorous bunkering, which oscillates between the expansive and the intricate, depending on the hole. An array of pot bunkers, waste bunkers, native wetlands, water sprays, bunkers integrated within a natural setting, and elevation changes rarely seen on a Florida golf course await you. Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

Improving
Everything we return and play this course it seems to improve. Yes, ithas couple of rough spots but attempts are being made to improve the course conditions! Temporary green is almost ready for play. Staff is always friendly!
The course was pretty open
I enjoyed the course layout and the friendly courteous staff.
Night and day.
After a few years of looking pretty rough, this course is miles better than it has been. Very impressed with the improvement in the greens in particular. Keep up the good work!!
Not yet….
They’re trying it appears, but this layout is way too gone to make it like it once was without a major influx of cash and experienced workers.
Course is a great track but it is pitiful to see and play it under these circumstances… SMH
Course is ready for you
Course is ready for play. Doing a great job on both fairways and greens
Much improved
Going back 2 years, this course was a mess, Bald greens that were just rolled dirt, bare fairways. Now, most greens are good and they are working on the 2 that are not. The team at the course, pro shop and restaurant are exceptional. The layout is fantastic and makes up for some of the improvements yet to be realized.
Great layout but conditions are still spotty
Victoria Hills has always been one of my favorite courses in central Florida. The layout is fun and challenging but it has been in poor condition the past few years. It is improving but still has a ways to go. Most of the greens were pretty healthy but putted slow. The fairways were mediocre at best. That said, I got a great Hot Deal rate so no complaints and the weather was favorable so it made for a great day.
great design, lots o' feature.
Course is Playable, rough around the edges. Repairs in progress to 1 hole. Greens slow. ALL cups Must be replaced; flags tilting severely on every hole, sometimes leaning into the turf. The cups look ancient, very worn from pins. This Place is a Great Design, and I'll return.
I played the course with my brother and the pace of play wasn’t bad. The staff was really friendly and I really like the layout of the course.
Getting Better
Conditions pretty good, certainly better than two months ago. The recent rains have helped conditions but there’s one temporary green while the true green is under repair. Tee boxes, fairways and greens pretty good but driving range is not so great. Played in four hours easily in the middle of a weekday.
Coming Back
I was glad to see this track improving. The front 9 showed work in progress (rated 3). Thaback 9 was in in it's early 2000 glory. Wow, what an improvement. I hope the front 9 matches the back 9 soon.
Doing some course renovations otherwise it’s in great shape!
Much improved
I was pleasantly impressed with how much the course has improved. Greens were in great shape overall with the exception of the temporary green on number 5. With continued improvement the course will return to its reputation of being one of the premier layouts in the area
