Golfers will appreciate Roland Garl's vigorous bunkering, which oscillates between the expansive and the intricate, depending on the hole. An array of pot bunkers, waste bunkers, native wetlands, water sprays, bunkers integrated within a natural setting, and elevation changes rarely seen on a Florida golf course await you. Garl's course is graceful and feminine

Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

I feel I need to write another review for this course. In the past I have blasted them for the deplorable conditions. I had heard the course had improved so I had to check it out. They have done a fantastic job at bringing the course back to life. Tee boxes and fairways are in good shape. The sand traps are weed free now and raked. Greens are improving and the staff, as always, is very accommodating. I will be back to play in the near future and am thrilled to see their working so diligently to bring this course back.

Better but fairways basically light rough

Has gotten a lot better. Certainly playable. Greens decent. Some areas that need bast improvement like #10 approach. Not sure why they don’t cut grass lower in fairways. Maine bc they’ll burn out?

Course is coming back, fairways much better than last visit. Greens were a little furry and still patchy in other areas but better overall.

Staff always friendly and on top of things.

Pace of play was not that good. At one point one foursome had had 3 twosomes and a single waiting on the hole they just finished..

Ive never seen a ranger on the course but on the busier days but now might be the time to think that through with the conditions improving.

Transformation

The transformation of this course deserves a lot of credit. 6 months ago it looked on the verge of closing down, and now it is a pretty good golf course. There are still a few flaws on some greens but they are all moving in the right direction. Well worth it for the price

New grass on the greens (they still need to fill in but an amazing amount of work from the Superintendent's team).

Grass in the fairways (keeping carts off of the bare areas promotes growth).

Greens a little slow and bumpy but compared to a year ago - the team has done amazing things to improve the course. We play it often and just love what the team has done.

Amazing upgrade

Victoria Hills has made a major change in their course. It was in such bad shape last we played but Now- it is one of the nicest courses. Everything is green again! Great shape and you get lots of shade in the afternoons.

Great again!

Best shape in at least 3 years. Greens full and a little slow but roll well. Lots of roped off areas. Number 5 fairway isn’t a threat to cause injury any longer. It appears Vic Hills is going to be an excellent golf course here soon.
