Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

Great shape after the hurricane
Played Sunday ...not alot of courses open due to the hurricane ...Hats off to the Victoria hills crew who worked really hard to open the course on Friday !!!

Slow play
Course was not very busy which was a good thing because there was a group of SEVEN - yes seven guys playing together.

Unfortunate
Sad to see what was told to be an amazing course in such rough shape. Greens were pretty good but rough and fairways needed some love. I’m sure the weather lately hasn’t helped. Layout is great though.

Great lay out
Nice change of pace from the normal flat golf course in Florida. Landscape needs attention but fairways and greens in good shape

Was charged twice
I booked the t time thru GolfNow and paid for the t time through GolfNow. When checking in at the golf course pro shop and I had to pay for the t time again. Double charged basically.

Fairway or lost ball
Course is in awful shape. You spend so much time hunting your ball its rediculous. In many areas the rough is two foot tall. Fairways are brown. Tee boxes are sand boxes. It’s pitiful.

Great layout and challenging greens.
The course layout intertwined with tall pines is beautiful. A little rough on tee boxes and some fairways, but the greens are excellent. The Sparrow food was great. Love the chef’s creative dishes and reasonable prices for the high quality. Never had a cup of clam chowder so good. Chunks of clam in every spoon. Will be back for sure.

Great Course being abused
Greens are better, both condition and length have improved. The rough is an absolute disaster and they should be embarrassed! I come up here about every 3 weeks to play with a local friend and we cut down on that. A real shame this is a great course layout.
Spoke with someone there and the amount of broken equipment they have is an absolute disgrace. The traps are not groomed any more and they almost all have weeds or grass growing in them. One can only guess what ownership is trying to do? if they want to sell the course, conditions will hurt their asking price, they cannot expect to increase play or membership either with these conditions.? I see the manager only replies to somewhat positive reviews but never really addresses any issue? Kind of telling.
Greens are great
Fantastic come back of the greens since the winter.
10 tee box is still a mess.
Sand traps still need to be redone.
New Carts are nice.
