About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

been in better shape
I played the forest about 9 months ago and was very pleased. I played it again a few weeks ago and the fairways didn't recover from the winter burn, the greens were average at best overall very disappointing.
Friendly staff, interesting layout, but the course is in tough shape
I played the black tees (6600 yds) and I had 4 groomed tee boxes out of 18. No grass, lots of burnt out sand / dirt areas, weeds , etc.. in the boxes. Sand traps were really thin and need to be refurbished/ Id say the greens were the saving grace of the course. Too bad....it’s an interesting layout and there are some tough holes too. The staff was very helpful and really friendly.

Course conditions not as expected
Ownership could have definitely used some of the money they spent on the clubhouse and put it into the course. First time playing the Forest course in quite a while and I don't expect to play it again. Numerous tee boxes were all dirt and those that did have grass, it was sparse. The greens putt pretty true, but they are starting to get some weeds in areas.
Not enough carts
Over 20 guys were waiting for a cart because they double booked the tee times and do not have enough carts. I heard this is not a unusual event. Get more carts or do not talk tee times.

Eagles - Forest Course
Really enjoyed a fun round of golf at an excellent course. The greens were in tip top shape and rolled smoothly. Probably around a 10-11 on a stimp meter. The staff was exceptionally friendly. I would highly recommend this course to everyone!

Nice Florida course
Playable course with a fair amount of water that comes into play on almost very hole. Carts were in bad shape
Greens were fast and in general good shape. Course needs some work. Back nine has no bathroom. Wife not happy.. enjoyed our day

The course is great
Tight so shot making would come into play, not long from the white Ts, so no need fir the driver.

Excellent course
This is a very challenging course due to the tight fairways and amount of forest and water. It's a thinking course and not for the driver-enthusiast. Irons let you land more accurately.
A bit jammed up the day that I played, but the weather made it the perfect day for golf.

Was not worth it
Pro shop staff refused to wear mask.
Tee boxes were chopped up and mediocre.
Pace of play was fine but we were rushed off by staff for an afternoon tournament.
We started at 8:30, we had plenty of time, no need to rush us.
Condition has decreased.

Heaven on Earth
The title says it all. Perfect weather and conditions, along with the best back nine known to man. There is nowhere else I'd rather tee it up. Blue skies, deer, alligators, and a good buddy to play a round with. Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
