About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

First time on the Forest
We had entire course to ourselves
1 on tee time….we got out 30 min early
Course was very challenging
Some greens needed some work

Needs a little TLC
The greens are in good condition and the fairways fir the most part we’re good however the tee boxes were in poor shape and pace of lay was slow with no ranger. Also the cart I was assigned Was devoid of divot sand and the cooler was full of yesterday’s empty’s. Attention to detail is important.

Promises Promises....
New managers took this over 6 months ago and they have done nothing they said they would do to improve.
They said they were installing a pizza oven, new menu, tournaments and even a food truck at the turn. Nothing has been done. To add to that the place is extremely dirty, just look under the coolers in the bar!
I would not order food here, surprised the health department allows them to be open. Today was Monday, burger and fry special. Guess what, NO FRIES!

Average
Played the Forrest course and gave 4 stars but really more like 3.5. The greens are in great shape and roll nice. The tee boxes and fairways need some work to be considered good. Aqua range to warm up and a fully stocked pro shop. Great bar for drinks before/after the round. If they tighten up the tee boxes and get some rain this should be back to a great course soon.

Nice course and tough
Course was a lot of fun, gps on carts is also nice. Going again on 06/05 after some rain, course was dry just like most courses around Florida due to no rain.

Nice course
It play a bit slow today, it was a holiday so it makes sense.
This course is nice, you can play it short, and use the white tees, or if you have been watching lots of PGA tour, go for it.
And play the tips..! Hope your handicap is up to part.

Don't bother
If they would have handed me $20 dollars back after my round with an apology I still would have felt ripped off. $50 in the summer in Florida should get you much better conditions than this. Tee boxes were bare and sand, fairways patchy and some greens had sand all over parts. Layout helps shots that seem good find water. I'll never return, for the money West Chase is in way better shape. It's a tough course but it's well kept, at least it was two weeks ago.

Fun course
A few green were a little beat up. Same with a couple tee boxes but overall, I enjoyed the course.

Nice course, Fun to play
Certainly one of the better public courses in the are. Needs some TLC on tee boxes but course being kept in nice shape despite little rain and a heavy load of golfers in March and April.

Eagles Golf Club /Forrest
Haven't play here in several years. The course was in great shape. Tee off at 11:30 a.m. and finished in 3 hours. We were a twosome. We had a group of 3 in front of us on the back nine and they were kind enough to let us play through on #11. They were quick to realize that they were slowing us up. Nice people and nice to see that some people still know golf course etiquette. Wonderful day on the course. I will be going back.
