About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

It was one of those rare days when we got rained out....didn't quite finish 9 holes when we called it a day after constant heavy showers....the course was in fairly good condition considering all the rain we've had this fall.....we will return on a better day.....

Great day on the golf course
Pastured golf with my daughter and we had a blast on the course.
Forests golf course played beautifully and so did we.

Greens need a haircut
First time played the course nice lay out some quirky little holes with water carts have GPS the only real downfall to the cost right now and it's probably because of the time of year the greens are extremely fuzzy

Interesting course
Pretty wet, a lot of rain lately causing the wet conditions. Not a lot of standing water but the ground was saturated. Was not notified of paths only but after attempting to drive on the fairway immediately returned to path and continued on the paths the rest of the day. Conditions were very good except for about 2/3rds of the tee boxes which were pretty sparse. Other than that, the fairways and greens were in pretty good shape considering all of the rain. Storms were threatening so course was fairly empty and pace was exceptional. Layout of course is to my liking, as they varied the hole designs nicely. Highly recommend.

Normally excellent, today just ok
I enjoy playing the Forest course, it’s normally in top shape. Today was a bit rough. Tee boxes were abysmal, you really had to move around a bit to find a clean spot to tee up. Greens were really long and slower than usual, need to be mowed.
We’re in the dog days of summer so I understand at this point with all the rain there may be some overdue maintenance. My only real complaint? We teed off at 9am and didn’t come across a cart girl until the 15th hole! We nearly died of exhaustion since there is no water available on the course and there is no turn on 10. That was brutal.

Very scenic and staff was friendly
I’m a 13 handicap i shot 70 from white teesI love the course I stayed out of the sand traps I did look at the traps need to stay out of them was not in one all day and they had some water in them other than the that Course was great and the staff was amazing. Lots of deer I asked if it would cost for extra rider and they said normally it would be the same as playing golf but said no charge. The reviews were horrible and I found it not so horrible once again the staff was great the golf course was in good to excellent and I paid 20 dollars thru GolfNow but using gps it sends you to silver dollar golf course turn before the white fence small sign says eagle drive private road nice community houses starting at 600k plus they get a 5 star review from me going back to play the lake’s course I played the forest course

Good course
Fast greens nice fairways! Rough was a bit overgrown. Beautiful water holes.

Tough day
Tough challenging course that’s in very good condition. Fairways and greens are in great shape compared to other places I’ve played. Some carts have gps/ range finders on them. Definitely will play here again.

Good challenging course
It’s hard to rate the course right now due to the amount of rain we have had, the rough was high and the traps were like hitting off concrete.
I feel the course was in good condition for what they had to deal with. I will be back for sure.
