The Eagles Golf Club - Forest

About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

Weekend Golf Warrior at the Eagles!
Played the Forest course at the Eagles. Great layout with ample challenges for the novice or weekend golfers. Greens need some work. Lots of patchy gren areas made putting tougher than it should have been. Also did not run into the cart girl thru 18 holes.
Would definitely go back, however.
Exceptional Pleasure
Simply a Wonderful place to golf and very close to home. I'll be back, thank you.
Needs improvement
Tees and fairways were pretty good but the greens were atrocious. I had hoped they might have improved since I played here 2 months ago but if anything they were worse . Weedy sprouts everywhere that the ball tracked off and heavily sanded areas on most greens. Very disappointing .
Currently not worth the price
Course conditions have improved from 6 months ago but $90 to play a course with 8 minute tee time dispersion that is either dead grass or flooded, no in between, is excessive. Tee boxes are sloped, soft and sparse. Fairways are shorter than they should be and concrete hard. Rough is covered in leaves and a lot of the time swampy. Greens are covered in weeds that knock your ball side to side when trying to putt.
Not as good as it used to be
Played the Forest Course. Arrived and checked in and paid for range balls, walked out of pro shop to use bathroom and there was a trail of poop from the outside of the mens room into the bathroom and a trail of poop all around the bathroom floor. It was DISGUSTING !. Who does that ?? Advised the pro shop, then went to go to the range. Was then told that in fact there were no balls for the range so had to get a refund on that. Greens are slow and not in good shape at all. Played the course several times pre-covid. Was much better shape then compared to now. Overall, kinda disappointed in the course, especially the greens. Staff was friendly though.
Needs Work
The Forest cours is in n rough shape. Especially the greens.
Please take care of your golf course.
Cmon man
Getting Better
Much better shape than in years past. Greens are in decent shape and most fairways have grass Keep it up, staffing remains to be an issue. F&B is 50/50 at best.
Stay away
Terrible greens and overall condition.
Bunkers were like concrete!
No starter, and free for all at the 1st Tee.
3 minute starting intervals!!
Nice course but not for the price per round
Nice area for the course and a lot of wildlife. There were weeds on all of the greens. They were low cut but definitely impact the ball. I could justify it for about $30 less per round. With greens like that and the high price point, this is definitely not my go to club. Staff was friendly and helpful.
