About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

Good Course for the $$ and Cut Above
Although I did not play well I enjoyed the course. Lots of water and seems to play longer than 6150 from blue tees. Not forgiving. Good pace of play.

My favourite local course
Got a good deal through GolfNow. Course in overall decent shape,Greens a bit slower than we're used to but in good shape.Played as a twosome and played behind a foursome that took a reasonable amount of time (4. 1/4 hrs.) but showed no interest in letting anyone through even though lots of room in front of them.

Course was in fair condition and greens were about average but I would play again if price is right.

Tight Course
Played from the blues and it is a tight course with very room for every. Playing by myself and the course for the first time some of the hazzards were hard to see from the tee. Great greens. Rolled nice

Lots of variety.
Very interesting layout..Good use of water features make things challenging with risk/reward balance.Fairways a little thin in places and some wet areas just off the fairways to be avoided..Will definitely play again.

Disappointing
This was my first time playing the Forest course (I have played the Lake course) and I was extremely disappointed with the course conditions. It is definitely not worth the $50+ rates they are charging.
The course was soaked and there was sitting water everywhere. I realize it rained the day before but course drained horribly and I do not know how this course is playable during the rainy season.
Tee boxes were in poor conditions and greens were pretty beat up. Fairways needed to be cut too.
It's a shame because the course has a good layout and would actually be fun to play if the course was in better condition.
Not at all worth the price they are charging to play.

Used to play this course every week a favorite. Course conditions went downhill for a while however they are finally coming back

Gator Golf
If you want to experience a good golf course with lots of unique hole layouts and located in a swampy area which attracts many wildlife then this is the spot for you! The best part of the day was I got to see about a 15 foot Gator!

Nice Course
Nice course offers a bit of challenge more so when conditions are wet like today. Greens are nice but were slow due to wetness. Lots of deers around. Would play again.

UNSEEN EAGLES
Just played Eagles (Forest) today. Been here many times before and I am always pleasantly pleased. It all starts with the friendly staff. Carts have gps, complimentary waters, ball and club cleaner. Unheard of in the higher end places that charge triple the amount in the same state.
Course is always fun and challenging for all levels. Tee boxes need help but they are working on it. Many changes to the club house almost complete. It's a gem of a course. Get out and play!

Fantastic As Always
Played Eagles Course (Forest Course) solo today.
Course was in fantastic shape as always and very clean. Pace of play was great (made it through 18 in just under 3 hours).
Saw some very cool wildlife while playing including deer, cranes, and one of the biggest gators I’ve ever seen in years.
Hesitant to give such a glowing review since I would like to keep this place all for myself :)

Eagle forest course. Will play it again
Overseeing showing signs of growth, lots of maintenance under way (bug issue being addressed) greens were true (with few exceptions) a few tee boxes still need some care (and seed growing time). Had a great day on the house, will definitely play it again

Coming along fine
Having never played here before, it was quite interesting seeing the upgrades that are currently being done. Lots of new sod, sand and features. Greens were very good but some of the tee boxes were in need of help (which seems to be happening). New clubhouse is very nice! A good experience and a beautiful day!

Awesome layout
Fairways not too consistent, Bermuda rough creeping into fairways here and there, but layout is excellent, greens we're good, not as firm as I like, but rolled good. Pace was excellent 3 hrs. 45 min. Staff everywhere is friendly. Highly recommend
