The Eagles Golf Club - Forest

I was in the area for the weekend and wanted to play a new course. A fun, present surprise . I was a single behind foursomes on a weekend so no problem. A twosome caught me on seventh hole. We had a great time, they were local players. Pace was under four hours . Water was in play on several shots but not unfairly so. Premium on accuracy. Tees were good and fairways were excellent . Greens rolled well, had a few areas where other grass was peaking through but a course I would play again for sure.

We’ve never had a bad round of golf at this course and we have played most in the area...tees, fairways and greens in great shape and no prob with pace of play.. don’t miss out on this woodsy yet open course!

Fun course with enough challenge to keep it interesting. Course was in great shape and greens rolled quick and true. About a 4 hour round on a full course - not bad.

I prefer the Lakes course as it seems less congested and residential compared to the Forest course. Greens were the best part of playing there yesterday. Rolled great and were very receptive. Fairways and tees were good, and the rough is pretty scrubby. Overall a good option.

Played the course and pace was great. Never saw anyone behind or in front of us. Forest course has a lot of water in play so keep eye on GPS for course layout. Wonder what the lake course would be like.

Very good greens. Fast but not lighting fast. Some fairways were not in great shape. They need to address it. Overall it was a good course.

2 inches of water over night closed one of the courses so players were forced onto one course.

Play was slower but still got in in 4 hours 20 minutes. Standing water everywhere but greens still very nice. All club personnel very friendly and helpful. We will go back again.

Had another good day on the forest course in spite of a huge rainstorm earlier in the day. The course was shortened somewhat to make up for cart paths only. It proved to be a good move as we had a nice pace of play. No beverage cart or Shack after nine can make for a long day. We will be back.

Played from the white tees. Need to be careful with water on the majority of holes. Tee shots need to be accurate, long but wild will hurt you. Many holes are dog leg left. Greens rolling fast and consistent from hole to hole. Sand traps could use more sand and regular raking.

Overall good conditions. Some teeboxes are dead/ bare at this point of the dry season. Greens are great. Unfortunately they did not overseed so fairways have short / little grass.

Starter matched our twosome up with two singles.Very compatible and he took the time to make introductions. Course in good shape. No overseeding but pretty good grass . Greens and tee boxes were in good shape. Lots of variety in layout, Will be back.

The forest course winds through some cypress swamp. There's houses on some of the holes so that steals a little of the "forest" feel. The greens are good and accepting of approach shots. For some reason they felt the need to paint the greens so until they dried out your equipment and balls were green. Bunkers were that good firm sand. A few sparce spots in the chipping areas around the greens. Lots of wildlife and water. Overall good shape and layout.

Had another enjoyable round on the Forest course.My partner and I paired up with a couple who are members. Fun course in very good condition with flawless greens. Miss the hot dog guy before the tenth tee. Never saw a beverage cart all day. Will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed my round with very quick play (about 3 hours flat) and lots of wildlife including huge gators and eagles. Course has lots of water to avoid and very nice greens. Only negatives were the clubhouse under construction, so restrooms were a little crude and no beverage cart on the course.

Great day to golf at the Eagles. Steady pace of play with perfect weather.

Great layout and excellent conditions. Greens are fast and true. Play here if you can as soon as possible.
