About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

Eagles golf club
Played at 10:00 a m with local and his guide dog (Bella)..Enjoyed there company and showing the way around the FOREST course. To me its a beat up country club thru the swamps of Florida. Its sure not worth $50.00 golf Now deal that I paid to play.. Pace of play was great....no one playing on this day......wonder why?. Sorry to say but i'am one and done playing there.
Great place
Course has 36 holes of great golf. Even though it was bit crowded and a little backed up at times, we still got thru our round in just over 4 hrs. Course is challenging but playable for all golfers. Always in great shape with excellent greens. Play there as often as I can even tho it’s a 45 minute drive from my home in Largo and I pass numerous courses to get there.

The course was in good shape as usual Both courses are well maintained. A lot of watering being done , some spots around the green a little to soggy for my liking. Construction ongoing around the clubhouse. Greens were quick & true

Challenging but fair.
1st time on the forest course. We played the lake course several. times. The check-in procedure was smooth. par 5's are shorter while par 3's are challenging.

Nice course. Great value
I played the Lakes course last time so tried the Forest course. Like the Lakes, course was in great shape though a little wet. I have really enjoyed both sides and find it a great value. 50 bucks on an early Saturday morning. Look forward to playing it a lot more.

Very nice layout!
I loved the course layout. Lots of natural wooded area. Saw a 6 point buck, 7 does, and a juvenile. Sprinklers need adjusting, because many areas of the course were soggy, and we hadn't had rain in 3 days. It did start raining on our second 9, but we enjoyed the day, anyway. The two of us played the entire 18 holes in 2 hours and 45 minutes, and we're both over 70 years old.

Beautiful track
Amazing pace of play, 3.5 hour round. Course is in great shape, from the tees, to the fairways to the greens. Greens roll pretty true and are not overly challenging, which was great for my confidence. The carts have GPS, which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.

Fun course
Good layout. GPS carts are always nice to have. Greens rolled well. Fairways in good shape. Tee boxes were bad but if there’s going to be a weak link in the course that’s the part that matters the least
Great layout
The course layout is wonderful. The greens are developing a lot of weeds and that is hurting the normally good conditions. Of course everything in the area is wet this time of year so conditions are typical for the area. There are other courses that do drain better so if you do not like cart path only you may want to check with the course prior.
The Forest
We've had a lot of rain so the course was a little soggy with a few holes cart path only probably should have been on most of the holes.
Too Hot for no H20 on the course
Course had dried out decent considering all the rain. FW, greens and Tee boxes in good shape. Friendly staff good pace of play. COME ON YOU GUYS-PLEASE PUT WATER COOLERS ON THE COURSE. 93 degrees! A few bottles were supplied, but not enough.
