The Eagles Golf Club - Forest

Overall a nice round on a nice layout. Great weather and pace of play. The greens were true and in good shape. The fairways were decent but a bit patchy. Tee boxes were decent, Staff was nice and the club is nice. The things I really like about this course are the nature aspect and the layout. A lot of wildlife to include gators, deer and eagles. The holes are not on top of each other.

Didn’t realize it until I got home and looked T my confirmation email. They overcharged me $10. Most of the course was in bad shape. Bare spots in the fairway. Had to move ball on greens to avoid really bad spots on greens. Definitely not worth the $70.

18 carts were in front of my group of two at our tee time. Over an hour wait to tee off past tee time. Horrible. Same deal with no “fog delay,” enjoy a six and a half hour round. Either the tee times need to be more spread out or management needs to clean their operation up. Either way this place makes for a painful afternoon of golf. Don’t waste a beautiful day being frustrated!

This Forest course is a much better scenic journey than the Lakes. We aren’t looking for a top notch golf experience for $64 but the tee boxes and greens were more in the sub-$20 level. I was impressed by the staff and the snack cart and ranger. They were all friendly and personable.

Waited over an hour for a cart and then played over a 5hr round. They need to do a better job of spreading out tee times and having enough carts. Seems to be a recurring issue

It had been a while since playing The Eagles - Forest and decided to give it another try. I like the course, especially the back 9. Even though they can't control early am fog which significantly delayed all starts, they can control course maintenance. The greens were inconsistent and overall the course was not in great shape for the price paid. The guys behind us kept hitting into us despite our inability to play any faster due to the slow play in front of us. Never saw a ranger, who could have assisted with the pace the of play. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back.

The course was nice to play for an afternoon 9 hole recreational round. Average difficulty and some holes were challenged with rough fairways and greens. We had a nice time.

Had a great time playing this course. Really nice layout, and I would play again. Front nine was slow, but once we were able to play through. the back nine moved along without issue.

I have played here 4 times and 3 of them were over 4-5 hour rounds. Yesterday was the worst. Starting times were 45min behind, and once we started the round took 5hr 20min. Didn’t see a ranger 1x pushing pace of play. You would think they would have one, especially being that everyone had to wait almost an hour past their booked times to start. 6 hours to get through a single round of golf. To make it worse we saw a beverage cart 1x the entire round on hole 5, and then not again for the entire rest of the round. Paying $78 for a 6hr round with no beverage cart. Won’t ever be going back

We live here, we stop going 6 or so months ago, the tee boxes were terrible, pace of play just awful!.

I decided to try it again, when we got there they say it was a bit backed up, just before our tee time the guy say, 30 or so minutes late , he said they had over 500 players, and that it was going tobe a 6 hours or so round.

We got a refund actually the guy in the shop say, that all the locals were doing the same thing, that they had lots of out of town golfers.

I get it you need to make money but shouldn’t given a fun round be more of a priority? You can easy space out tee times every 10 minutes ..

This were nice courses the last couple of years is just bad, needless to say, we won’t even bother to go there in a long while, hopefully they change management.

Started off slow, thirty minute delay before starting, due to backup. As we slowly went from hole to hole the backup subsided. The course was in great shape and I had a great time with my family.

Greens are in very poor condition lack of grass on some and lots of bad weeds.Getting worse every week.
