The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

Enjoyed the round. course was in great shape. The greens were very fast. Had a hard time with that but enjoyed it all the same.

After playing the Forest course a copilot of months ago I swore I’d never go back to the Eagles. I made the mistake of spending good money again on the Lakesa course that is not being kept up to standards. Fairways are bare and the green roll like your putting on asphalt. With the dozens of other courses available in the area, don’t waste you time or money for 2 courses that are deplorable

To put it frankly, this course rates as a never returning. At a cost of $46, we expected a way better experience. We traveled 45 minutes from Spring Hill. Where to begin? We arrived as always an hour before our tee time (12 noon). After checking in, we find there are NO CARTS available!! My buddy carried his bag over to the driving range which was less than poor!!! The hitting area was ALL SAND!! So after each shot it was sand to the face!!

With a 12 noon tee time, I putted around on the practice green, which was lightning fast. That would come back to haunt us as numerous holes were set on hills, so a few putts just missed and proceeded to roll down hills 6-8 feet away. Welcome to 3 putt-ville!

At about 11:55 we were finally given a cart and went to the tee box where it was a 4 group stack. The course was packed with 4somes, but the starter allowed a 2 some to tee off between the 11:52 and our tee time (12 noon). STUPID, as after that twosome tees off a twosome rolled up on our 4some!!!

After a 4:40 round, amongst the longest I have played in 2 years, I can safely say we will never return to this course. All it takes is one mistake to make us have misgivings of a course. This one along with a higher price point (than BETTER courses near us), not enough carts, unfair pin placements and a slow round with NO RANGERS to check on things makes it a NEVER PLAY AGAIN!

Title says it all. Waits on tee boxes was rediculous and it was too crowded. I won't book this again but it is a good course. Both lakes and Forrest are nice.

I have played at eagle a lot, the course layout is challenging for a beginner like me. Need some lover for fairways. They are having chart challenges which after talking to pro shop Staff Its understandable and staff has always been nice and courteous, Today was a really bad experience. One of the staff workings of Cart forcefully took our bags out of the cart while returning to our car, because folks were waiting for the cart he without asking our permission took our bags and belongings out of the cart. He was physically threatening and challenging us basically to pick a fight. I have had a few problems with carts before, like cart dying and waiting for the cart for over 30 min post my tee time but this is the first time any staff has been this rude and out of line especially when you pay $22 for carts.

I was excited from past reviews to play this course. Needs a lot of TLC. Very disorganized, play was quite slow, fairways were poor on the front 9, better on the back 9 (Lakes course). Greens however were quite good. Did not appreciate the surcharge of 3.75% if you use any type of cards for payment.

Better courses available for that price, too bad

Booked a last minute twosome for an afternoon tee time. Course was fairly empty as we didn't have to wait much during round. Greens were good. Course was in good shape in general. Would play again.

Course was in decent shape. Some of the greens had damage and were not well repaired. Way overbooked and pace of play teeing off at 8am was horrendous. Took our 4some 5.5 hours to complete 18 holes. I'll be avoiding until Summer.
