The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

I hear a new management company has taken over the Eagles and currently conditions are very poor. Long grass everywhere just off the fairways. It appears they have not mowed for many weeks. Greens and fairways were good, everywhere else good luck finding you ball.

Hoping things will improve over the coming months.

Greens were excellent. Most teeing areas were VG.

In many areas the rough needed mowing as it was overgrown and very thick/deep. Fairways were VG.

Greens are great! Fairways are good! Rough, needs to be mowed but it was the weekend. Traps could be turned over a bit with the sand raker but it’s the weekend. Overall, great value because the greens are fire right now! I bet if you play during the week when the course has been mowed it’s great! Oh! We never saw the cart girl!

Had a great playing this course even with the rain. The greens were surprisingly fast presumably due to all the heat ew've had. We were held up by 2 showers, after the second one some of the fairways were mushy.

Always have a good time playing here. I enjoy the challenge. The staff is friendly and the course layout is beautiful

I enjoy both of these courses. They seem to always be kept in very good shape. And most importantly, to me, the pace of play the couple of times I've played here, has been excellent. Perhaps my opinion of the courses wouldn't be as positive as they are, if the pace were slow, idk. I hope not to find out.

I struggled on the lakes again. It’s a challenging course!

The forest course recently re opened after closing for 3 weeks for maintenance. The greens were a little sandy but was in good shape! 26 bucks makes this a great value!

Course was in great shape with all things considering. Great pace of play and very courteous staff. Got this on a hot deal and would definitely do it again!

Distance and course lay out makes this course a unique challenge. Positioning off the tee is very important! Looking forward to playing this course again!

Longest round i have ever played, over 5 and a half hr., no ranger around the entire time. Condition of the course has fallen to new low. Only so much can be blamed on the virus. the rest is poor management. Stay away until they get their act together again.

Nice afternoon Upon arrival the golf staff was overly polite, brought a cart out to us in the parking lot very very thoughtful. Got in and out of the pro shop very quickly, and Pro shop gentleman was very polite. This course does not give you anything for free. The par threes long, the par fours most of them need two good shots to get on.

You have to earn it. Like all courses in Florida needs a little rain but the greens were very good. We’re definitely return to play another round or two.

Terrible course conditions, rude staff and pace of play was unbearable. Be prepared for a +5 hour round cause management over books tee times and does nothing to encourage pace of play. There was standing water in random spots of the fairway, complete fairways without grass, and unlevel tee boxes. Greens were average at best.
