The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

Distance and course lay out makes this course a unique challenge. Positioning off the tee is very important! Looking forward to playing this course again!

Longest round i have ever played, over 5 and a half hr., no ranger around the entire time. Condition of the course has fallen to new low. Only so much can be blamed on the virus. the rest is poor management. Stay away until they get their act together again.

Nice afternoon Upon arrival the golf staff was overly polite, brought a cart out to us in the parking lot very very thoughtful. Got in and out of the pro shop very quickly, and Pro shop gentleman was very polite. This course does not give you anything for free. The par threes long, the par fours most of them need two good shots to get on.

You have to earn it. Like all courses in Florida needs a little rain but the greens were very good. We’re definitely return to play another round or two.

Terrible course conditions, rude staff and pace of play was unbearable. Be prepared for a +5 hour round cause management over books tee times and does nothing to encourage pace of play. There was standing water in random spots of the fairway, complete fairways without grass, and unlevel tee boxes. Greens were average at best.

We have played here a handful of times and were very happy with the conditions. We expect that it was overseeded in the fall so it is really looking and playing great. The greens were nice.

The Eagles does an excellent job of maintaining the two courses. One problem I have noticed is that many senior golfers play too far back to have only a "once a in round chance" of getting to par 4s in two. Starters need to emphasize that if you cannot get your drive near or beyond the 150 yard marker on the par fours then you need to move up. Watching countless golfers hit 3 shots to get inside the 100 yard marker is horrible golf for both the player and the observer watching from the tee.

The Lakes course is in great shape with really nice greens right now. Fairways are firm and fast. Clubhouse is like new with a recent update. Food is good as well. Brian, the pro here is very nice to the guests and members.

Played a nice round on the Lakes course today. Fairways and greens in great condition, particularly the greens. The Lakes is challenging, but fair. Many dog legs. Quite a few elevated greens. Lots of sand traps. I don’t play from the tips but they look very challenging. Saw a few gators sunbathing. Overall, a very enjoyable round. The new renovations to the clubhouse are quite impressive. Huge, screened addition overlooking the 1st and 10th tee boxes. We booked the Forest course for next Friday and we are definitely looking forward to see the recent improvements and play some quality golf!

Good layout, great condition, good check in experience, and good cart guys to help us. The Eagles golf course management know how to make your golf experience one that you will remember and want to play again and again. Thank you for a fun day. Golf courses in this area of Florida could learn a thing or two from this management group!

The layout will have you hitting all your clubs in the bag. Lots of area to spray the golf ball on most holes, very fair!

Recommend skipping some dog track courses in this part of Florida and enjoy the Eagles experience often. With 36 holes, it just wasn't busy though the parking lot had quite a few cars in it.

My friends and I play this course whenever we are in town. Great clubhouse, course plays well and is in great shape.

The greens were true and rolled smooth. The rest of the course was just ok for the ~$45. Had a tee time for the Forest course later in the day but decided to try somewhere else. Teed off at ~7:15 and finished in 2.5 hours which was great. The pro shop folks were accommodating. Definitely a “locals” course.

The management and staff continue to be rude and overbearing. We"re ar your facility spending hard earned money when we could be at any one of 30 other courses in the area.

Would it be too much to ask to smile and say welcome to ghd Eagles how are you today instead of 'what's your name, have you got any IX with your picture on it.

We'll all go back because we like both courses but we won't be spending any time in the pro shop or the bar/restaurant.

Lovely course that plays well. Great friendly staff and good amenities.

Will be back. Pace of play fantastic. Played early. 18 in under 2.5 hours. Lots of fun.
