The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

I've played both the Lakes and Forest courses at The Eagles GC and would recommend them as great courses at a great price. Well worth playing at a great price.

Course in great condition and pace of play was outstanding. We were never hitting into anyone and had no one behind us. Course layout tests your game but fun to play. Thanks again to the entire staff for making our time at the course a great experience. I'll definitely be back.

Played this course about 10 yrs ago, was much better then. Lady at the pro shop was rude. Was playing by myself, asked if my wife could ride, was told no, she had to pay $20.00, I payed $24.00 with Golfnow Hot Deal. Staff did not display a friendly attitude.

Nothing fancy. I like aqua ranges but psychologically it’s hard to intentionally hit into water when you tried to avoid hitting into water on the course. Couple of tight doglegs but manageable if you place it well. Bunkers have very good sand. Greens got faster as day progressed.

One negative- large bucket of balls was a smal at any other course I’ve ever played. Probably should be included in the price.

Greens we're pretty good nice actually. Fairways kinda rough. Tee boxes were rough. Good cart. Nice sand. More like a 40 dollar course.

The breakfast is unbelievably good for the cost! We both are for 15 bucks and it was really great!

Maybe the course was having trouble or something but just rough right now.

Greens wwre a bit slow and a few bare spots on the fairways and some very tight lies. Played the back tees and its a pretty good challenge from there.

Played early in the morning and the course was enveloped in fog for the first nine holes. Nontheless, we finished the round in about 3 1/2 hours on a Saturday morning. The course is not so difficult (when you have a clear view of each hole) and the greens are consistent even if not very fast.

Greens were in fairly good condition although quite slow.

Tee boxes in great shape and well maintained, fairways good for this time of the season, greens are beautiful but on the slower side. The course is a fair test from any tee box you need to play. Friendly and helpful staff made this a great experience. Our 4 some agreed this was a great value and would recommend it to anyone to add to their good places to play list.

Unfortunately I showed up just in time to pay and play. No time to warm up. It was a foggy morning and playing my myself made it tough to track my ball. Really nice looking course with mature trees and greens in great shape. Fairways were good but a little thin, guess that's Florida golf this time of year.

Being able to shape shots off the tee really helps because the holes bend in both directions and the view from the tee box can seem narrow if you can only shape it one way.

They have 2 courses and when making the turn it is difficult to determine where the 10th hole is for the Lakes course. All the signs on the front nine are marked Lakes but the back nine are marked Eagles.

Beautiful day for golfing and the course was great !

Always a good time at The Eagles Golf Course, whether it's the Lakes or The Forest this course is fun and challenging.

The pace of play was a bit slow, but at this time of year it's to be expected. Look forward to my next visit.

A good course with decent layout and conditions. About a 30 minute drive from Dunedin but worth it.

Great course and very good value. All the holes were fair but not easy. Greens were true and all were elevated. I would like to come back later in the spring when the course grows in to regular conditions.
