The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

Unfortunately I showed up just in time to pay and play. No time to warm up. It was a foggy morning and playing my myself made it tough to track my ball. Really nice looking course with mature trees and greens in great shape. Fairways were good but a little thin, guess that's Florida golf this time of year.

Being able to shape shots off the tee really helps because the holes bend in both directions and the view from the tee box can seem narrow if you can only shape it one way.

They have 2 courses and when making the turn it is difficult to determine where the 10th hole is for the Lakes course. All the signs on the front nine are marked Lakes but the back nine are marked Eagles.

Beautiful day for golfing and the course was great !

Always a good time at The Eagles Golf Course, whether it's the Lakes or The Forest this course is fun and challenging.

The pace of play was a bit slow, but at this time of year it's to be expected. Look forward to my next visit.

A good course with decent layout and conditions. About a 30 minute drive from Dunedin but worth it.

Great course and very good value. All the holes were fair but not easy. Greens were true and all were elevated. I would like to come back later in the spring when the course grows in to regular conditions.

I've played both courses a few times both are very enjoyable very difficult playing from the back you get your butt kicked. Staff is very friendly very efficient outside guys are very polite very accommodating course could be cleaned up a little bit fairways aren’t perfect the greens are pretty good roll pretty true bunkers are in great shape definitely worth the money.

Beautiful day for golf course in very good condition, greens fairly quick traps super shape. overall would go back in a heart beat.

Depending upon Tee selection (gold to black) degree of difficulty is easy to difficult.

Age plays a factor on selection.

Also a starter would help.

Challenging but beautiful saw deer, Turkey, and alligators.

Course is in great shape, nice greens.

The Lakes course does not seem long, but it is sneaky long...There are no easy par 3's and a few par 4's that are beasts...One different hole is #10(par 5) where you have to lay up on your second shot...Greens are hard and fast...I like the challenge.

They advertise new greens but they do not look new although they are very true & fast. A must play course same goes for the Forest too!

Have played both courses here a number of times. Current ownership has done a great job upgrading and maintaining both and it's always great to go back. We had a perfect weather day with little traffic on the course that affected us. The Lakes course is harder than the Forest and it was in good shape today. Greens were deceptively quick.

The golf course is beautiful. Some different holes and challenging. I look forward to playing it again.
