Busy Saturday
I found staff was friendly and attentive to my needs on this visit. Course is challenging and visually beautiful. Staff was trying to maintain pace of play. Facilities provided good warm up practice areas.

Always consistent
I have played here a few times over the last month or so. The Course is always in fairly good condition. Staff is friendly. Complementary range balls and nice putting green are a bonus. Staff and starter are always very organized. You always go out on time or a little early. But pace of play is always an issue at this course.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Popular Golf Course in the DMV area ..
Stonewall is one of the popular golf course in the DMV area for sometime now, and we noticed they’re making some additional improvements to the course (cutting trees, bushes, new sands, etc..,) .. however, over the years Greens took some beating and noticed some coloration and disease-like (hope they make some Greens improvements soon) .. other than that Stonewall is one of the Top Notch course you can play in the DMV area.

slow and poor condition
We quit after 9 holes because we were on pace for 5:20 round. Who has time for that? Also, course conditions were just bad - we've had exceptional weather yet they hadn't mowed tee boxes, rough was patchy and bunkers were horrible.
