No water on course!
It was in the 90’s today and there was no water on the course. This is inexcusable for such an upscale facility with pricing to match. After our round we reported to the pro shop there was no water and he said there was. He couldn’t have been less interested. There was a cart girl going around the course with water bottles to purchase but we shouldn’t have to rely on that.
Course as usual was in great shape, but the 7 of us left very disappointed with the Stonewall management.

The guy at the starter with a mustache and beard had no customer service skills at all. I got there 40 mins early so I could get a cart and go to bag drop to pick up my clubs. I saw my cart with time start and checked in. There was no key in the cart so I asked the guy with the beard for a key and he said he would get me one and walked away from me. I asked the lady that was there and she gave me a key. I pick up my clubs and drove up to the driving range. The guy with the beard ran up to me and said wheee do you think your going you don’t tee off until 12:10pm . I told him I just wanted to warm up and that I wasn’t going to the first tee. He was very rude and told me to pull it off to the side where I was going anyway. When the other 2 that were in the foursome showed up at 12:02pm this same guy would not give them a key for the cart because he said it was to early for the 12:10 tee time. I think you need to teach this guy some guest service skills.

Pretty Course
Conditions were excellent, pace of play very comfortable, well maintained course, and very courteous and friendly staff. Military discount provided, thank you for acknowledging service members. Great course!

Best public golf course in Gainesville
This golf course is in excellent condition. The fairways were and the greens are in their best right now. The pace of play was well managed. I would highly recommend this course for golfers that wants to challenge their game.

Beautiful homes/location
Group loved the course layout and homes. While homes were built on the course they were never a factor. We felt we could swing away. We definitely will return to play this beautiful course

I have played Stonewall many times over the years. Today's round was not one of my best but it was my fault, not the course's. Good condition in all areas.
