The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club

Overall very nice and challenging Course. Greens and bunkers just happened to be going through maintenance. The snack bar was not very well staffed. We had to search for someone to help take our orders.

The course is so nice and very good layout. The course have very good maintenance. Overall good.

Little disappointed that Golf Now did not identify that aeration on back nine had it shut down so I had to play the front twice. That said - the value of $30 is amazing for this super course of which the front nine was in beautiful shape. Slow play a bit and no ranger on the course but it was a Monday.

Played June 17th. Course is very good condition, greens especially. Pace of play wasn't great but not terrible either. Great value for the money, course is challenging.

Last year while visiting the Raleigh area I I played at The Preserve at Jordan Lake and really enjoyed the course. Now that I am visiting Raleigh again I wanted to play there again. I had a beautiful day on the course which was in excellent condition. I will be back.

Great course that I played for the first time. Was in fabulous condition and very nice and challenging course. Wish I would have played there and will definitely play there again!!

My last round found the course in muted condition. Grass wasn’t growing in. Today’s round was greatly improved. All the current rain has improved the course immensely. Greens were in good shape, the fairways much improved and growing in nicely and tee boxes in good shape. Overall in very good shape and staff very professional and friendly.

This course was scenic and had more wildlife then I have seen in NC golf. Deer were in play for a few holes. The layout was challenging. You need to be straight off the tee and avoid the bunkers. Greens rolled very well.

The other reviews were spot on, really nice course but lousy bunkers. I played with a local who said they've been that way for years. They were really hard packed but in fairness the course had been hit with a ton of ran the night before. Still, I'm sure they're pretty shabby most of the time. That said, you can always pull the ball out with a free drop. Otherwise, it;'s a nice place and a fair amount of elevation.

I've played The Preserve several times from the grey ties ( senior) and u still come away with "what was Davis thinking for second shot for the guys in gray. My drive average is a respectable 220 to 230 but I still find my self between 170 and 180 out on my second shot on the majority of the par fours. This makes for a frustrating round of golf. Somewhere between 160 and 150 would be much more competitive. Either way, an enjoyable shared frustration with another senior. Course is really drys. Most fairways where covered in thin grass however, very hard underneath. Move the seniors up!

The Preserve is in great shape. Small complaints about sand in the bunkers and ambiguous location of drop zones for those us (me) who need to use them.
