The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club

One of the better courses in the Chapel Hill/Durham area for the price. Pace of play was easy, I would advise not going out there if it rained the day prior, does get muddy on most holes.

Challenging course. The greens are great. Great pace of play. The hot dog at the turn wasn’t the greatest, but the snack bar isn’t fully open yet.

I played in the off season and the greens were hard to figure out but the course was beautifully sculpted and definitely a challenge.

Played the day after high wind and tornado warnings plus rain in the area. The course, therefore was wetter than usual and the greens were much slower than normal. Cart path only makes this course a bear especially with wet and windy conditions. Good news is the pace of play was whatever we wanted it to be. I still enjoy this course and would recommend it to others. Not sure I woulld want to play it everyday. Staff was very accomodating.

The wet weather has really kept a lot of courses soggy since the new year, but the preserve seems to be starting to dry out. Can’t wait to get back out ther and play again!

Really enjoyed playing the course. Was a little wet but all courses around here are in the same boat with the weather. Greens rolled true. Look forward to playing during the season.

Greens fast and undulating. Fairways need some grass growth but that will happen as it dries out and gets some sun.

It hasn’t rained in two weeks and the course was a swamp land. Tee boxes had no grass fairways looked like a goat pasture.

I like the lay out of the course. They still are very wet and very little grass growing. I have play other courses this week and they much more grass and not as wet. Hopefully the conditions will improve in a few weeks.

Note that the course can be a difficult walk because of the hills and distance between greens and tees. There are a number of ravens, you have to be careful that tee shots do not run into the hazards.

No golf carts were allowed on the course off the path, and the course was almost too muddy to play. This should have been more clear on Golf Now. It was a difficult place to play and took much longer. Every ball was a mud ball, even good shots. I was disappointed.

Played The Preserve twice in a week. Loved the layout and can’t wait to play it when it dries out.

Nice, course, nice layout. Our threesome waited on the foursome in front of us on every hole. They turned a 3 hour game into 4+. Other than that, an overall nice experience.

The course was very wet. The course layout is good.
