The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club

Greens were punched around a week ago. Was not to bad, give a few more days and will smooth out. Other than that good as always.

Very nice course - in good shape, though the greens haven't recovered from recent aerating. The course certainly requires thoughtful strategy based on skill level and course hazards - a fun course!

Greens were recently aerated and there was no alert when booking and we were not given any notice until we got to the 1st green. Avoided playing another course due to aerated greens only to pay full price here and have a poor experience on the greens. Very disappointed

The preserve is typically a good track but they didn’t have any warnings up about punched greens when booking the tee time. The greens were unplayable. They didn’t spread the sand and roll it in so you were basically putting through a bunker.

I normally love this course and the staff is great. But they recently aerated the greens and they are nearly unplayable. Give it a couple weeks. Definitely put it on your list.

The front nine was closed, back nine greens were completely under sand. Course did not inform us of these conditions. Not very fair to pay when course is unplayable

Booked a Wed tee time for two, hot deal and very good price. Got there to find out the greens had been aerated and we could only play the back 9 twice. This should be shown when you reserve. After some confusion I was out on ten trying to call the clubhouse to be sure I had the right 9, no one answered. Had to drive back to ask questions. It was near 100 degrees and there was no water anywhere on the course. The hazards could be marked better. The cart broke down on 15, our second time through. Again, no one at the clubhouse to pick up the phone. My partner had to walk all the way back for a new cart while I waited over an hour. It’s a hike! Reluctantly we finished our round. I discussed the issues with the manager and got very little in response. He said he made a note to check the phones. Poor service, poor conditions. I wouldn’t go back for the hot deal, never mind their regular rates.

First time playing The Preserve, the course was long and challenging for my handicap. It was in great shape given the low rainfall this year, greens were slower than expected but in good condition. Good pace for our 9:20 tee time.

Great track. Practice green significantly faster than greens on course. Recommend range finder or course yardage book. Judging pi’s difficult. Especially on back nine. Enjoyed immensely. Mini dwarf a little tough to read but smooth.

Nothing mind blowing - only complaint really was the inconsistencies with the greens. Both hole to hole and within the same green. It looked like the hole locations are not moved frequently. The speed of the greens near the hole was a lot faster than an area further away from the hole.

Apart from the greens, the course was in nice shape, was fair and challenging.

Great track. Pretty surprising to be a semi private rather than a private facility. Challenging but fair. Beautiful houses surrounding the course. Think we’ve found a real gem.
