Golfer Reviews
Pretty good shape
Greens are good. Fairways and around the greens had some wet spots. I'm not sure how! The sand traps were hit and miss. Some of them were nice, others hard as a rock. People remember to pick up your feet and don't scuff the greens! And while you're at it, fix your ball marks.
Nice executive course.
City Park is a nice par 62 with 6 (short) par 4/5 and 12 par 3s. Pace is usually fairly good. Course conditions were not up to their usually standards and all the bunkers needed some TLC.
Nice Course
I am pretty new to Golf. This course was nice ! I’m from Atlanta so I didn’t expect the atmosphere to be as nice as it was and I was surprised! I want to go back again the next time I go!
Beautiful greens
The greens are receptive if you hit a good shot. A pleasure to put on compared to some other public courses in our area. My only complaint would be maybe a restroom somewhere on the course.
Nice day
Tee boxes fairways and greens are in really good shape . Staff and cart girl was great! Pace good.
Historic Executive cotton the heart of New Orleans
I was vacationing in the Big Easy for the week. I had the opportunity to play this course on a Wednesday morning. I went as a single and was paired with a great father - son twosome. This course is a little gem nestled in New Orleans. It is a short executive course but it is in a park. The place is visually stunning. The fairways are in great shape. The greens are fair. Some spotty turf on them here and there. Plenty of opportunities to work on your iron play. It’s not the TPC of New Orleans but it isn’t trying to be. Pace of play was great and the staff was amazing. Play here if you get the chance.
