Green Conditions
Course was great. Pace of play was also great but the greens were not good at all. Not due to the staff but due to the ball marks that were not repaired on every green is outrageous which only makes the greens hard to putt on.
Fun, beautiful course
Fun course to play with many par 3’s (par 62 course). Beautiful location with some holes feeling like your in the city and some holes making you wonder if you’re still in NOLA.
Fun course to play from out of town
Fun course to play from out of town, price was good and no issues. Course was in good shape for February
Fun Short Golf Course
Despite the cold and muddy conditions, the golf course was still a lot of fun. Each swing brought its own set of challenges, from navigating slippery fairways to avoiding soggy patches, which added an unexpected layer of excitement to the game. Laughter echoed as golf balls splashed into puddles and shoes got caked with mud, turning the outing into an adventure rather than a typical round of golf. The brisk air and the camaraderie among players made up for the less-than-ideal weather, proving that even imperfect conditions can’t dampen the joy of a good game.
Nice Father / Son day out
Nice course, wet day. Going back soon. Alot of par 3’s.
Had High Hopes
Not worth the hype. Had the feeling of a municipal course. Hit into a bunker and the ball bounced like it hit the cart path. Bunkers had concrete just under the sand. The restaurant was crazy expensive. Clubhouse staff was friendly. Fix the bunkers and you might have an ok course.
Improving
Greens were in much better shape and pace of as good as expected with the number of golfers out on a beautiful Saturday. Too many random non golfing walkers on the course in dangerous places though.
Cool executive course
I thought it was a nice short course with a fun layout. The staff was extremely nice and took good care of us on our travel day. Very beautiful layout in the middle of the city / park.
Review
This is a great course if you’re looking to sharpen your short game, particularly your irons. The layout is on the shorter side, so you won’t get much use out of your woods, but it’s perfect for precision practice.
From tee to pin, the course is in great condition, with well-maintained greens and fairways. The par-3 holes were especially enjoyable and added to the overall fun experience. However, the sand traps were disappointing—they were more like mud traps, which detracted from an otherwise solid round.
Overall, it was a fun and easy course to play, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!
Irons
Great place to work on your irons. Short course, so do not expect a lot your woods.
