PGA WEST Greg Norman Course

The routing was good, greens fair and rough generally sparse enough to find and play errant shots. My one criticism is that there needed to several more fairway wide enough to hit away with a driver.

The course was challenging and very well bunkered. However, the fairways would slope to center so a drive off center would not hurt you unless it was too far right or left and hits a bunker. Very nice greens that putted true. Well worth the time and money to play this course.

The fairways are carved into the desert with multiple contours, which sometimes made it hard to choose where to hit drives. In addition, some of the bunkers were quite far away from greens, with large, difficult collection areas in between. These weren’t fully apparent on the cart GPS.

Aside from that, the course was beautiful and challenging. The greens were fast and hard to read also! I’d play it again, and hope I did better!

Course is in immaculate condition. Beautiful course and yes, quite challenging. Good , accurate drives are a must and need to have a good short game to avoid greenside bunkers which can be tricky. Loved this course, definitely worth the trip.

This course is hard. The course was in great shape, the greens rockhard, but true. Very difficult to stop the ball in the greens. The fairways are narrow and there’s a lot of desert. This is a golf course for an A player. Bring your A game, or bring a lot of golf balls.

Local knowledge is key too. I played 36 holes,. Improving my score by 12 strokes on the second round. We had wonderful weather, and as a single I met a lot of great people. I will definitely play it again, but only when I know my game is in shape.

From club dropoff to the front desk, bar and beverage cart, and especially the starter (Curry), the staff was awesome, which made this fun (not too challenging) course even better. Thanks!

Target golf w well defended greens.

Greens are fast and don’t hold your shots so plan accordingly.

Don’t be deterred just plan on a higher than average score.

Excellent warmup and practice area.
