PGA WEST Greg Norman Course

Bad greens, very slow and bouncy and the worst sand traps I have seen .

Its not your just grip it and rip it course,tight fairways with sand and desert fawna all around,need to stay on the grass areas that make it kind of a target course but not to brutal.Play smart and be rewarded with decent scores,greens rolled amazing and fast

I've now played 26 courses in the Inland Empire and Palm Springs areas over the last year or so. This course is the best maintained I've played. The fairways are so beautifully manicured and luxuriously thick and green it's almost a shame to take a divot!!! The greens and tee boxes are also excellent. Everything about this course was great.

I rated everything 5 stars except the staff which I could only give 4 stars (which is still excellent). Everyone in the clubhouse , the bar and on the course staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The only exception was the young man in the cart barn as we turned our carts in. He was rude to the two in the cart in front of us. While the players was still getting stuff from the basket, the worker started to drive the cart forward with one man's hand still in the basket. The man yelled "Stop" and he did. Then when the man reached back into get the last item from the basket the cart barn guy started forward again. The man shouted "Stop" again and when confronted, the cart guy only said "I wasn't moving it very far!" No apology what so ever! NOT a nice way to end a great day for us!

Had mid morning Sat tee time and pace was great. Desert shots often roll back to fairway but anything by water is going in. Greens were excellent and med speed. Nice views and feels like a private course.

We started our round behind a 4some that were perhaps new to golf and may not have understood the etiquette of letting a 2 some through. We forced the issue at the turn and then played the back nine without seeing any other golfers for the remainder of our round. We prefer the other public courses at PGA West, but all their courses are in great shape and well maintained.

As with all PGA West courses, this course did not disappoint. The staff were great, the driving range was awesome, and the course itself was a blast.

Typical desert course with hard pan rough and plush rye grass fairways. Visually attractive with some challenging par 3s over water. Enjoyable round

The course isn’t as intimidating as I thought it would be from the white tees. However, ball placement is to be thought of. It was a real pleasure to play this course, and, we will return to play again. The scenery is Beautiful. Very well kept and clean everywhere on the grounds. Super efficient staff and a very friendly environment. Will see y’all soon!

Played on a windy day. Good layout and the fairways are pristine. Quite a few bunkers and the fairways are bordered by desert hard pan. Greens were rolling well. Happy to return for another round.

Grass was perfect, no bad lies. Bunkers were fair, greens were perfect. Little breeze on the back nine, great views.

You must hit good golf shots to score on this course. Greens a bit slow but overall a fun day.
