Great course in very good condition

The course was in very good condition when we played, however it took us 5hrs 30mins to complete our round, we didn’t have any golf carts, but the people in front of us did, in fact most people we seen had golf carts. It didn’t help to speed things up.

From speaking to a few people round the course, the majority of them were groups of golfers staying and playing over the weekend.

Overall I would return and play this again but maybe not at the weekend when there are large groups going out first.

Overall, enjoyable!

Overall, an fairly enjoyable round on a good weather day.

Staff friendly & helpful. Good facilities.

Not played for a number of years and course in best condition I've seen it. Albeit, most other courses I've played lately have been in better with recent favourable weather. Greens running fair but recently micro punched and a bit slow.

Disappointing aspects are: the amount of people not playing golf walking (wandering with) their dogs in the middle of fairways at the residential end of the course, oblivious to golf balls; so many piles of dog poo in second 9 holes; bunkers in same part of course resembling kids sandpits with the amount of footprints/dog paw marks; the amount of unrepaired pitch marks; people on bicycles cycling over the course. Don't think this is greenkeepers fault though. Perhaps time of day and lack of respect for course by visitors and public.

Fabulous day on the course

We had a great day out on this challenging course, weather was superb and course condition was challenging but a fair test. Course set up was good with fairways in great condition, first cut rough providing a safety net before knee high rough, first cut was punishing too though making it difficult to get clean ball connection. Greens tricky but good condition. Be prepared for a walk from greens to next tees but views around course exceptional.

Facilities for food and drinks in hotel superb, pro shop was adequate and efficient, plus staff we had contact will were all super friendly, polite and helpful. Will definitely be back😎👍

Golf and epic scenery

Amazing views. Course in good condition. Pace of play horrendous. 5 hours for 2 ball. Four balls holding course up. Sometimes 3 sets of players waiting to tee off. Unless the larger groups let people through it is always going to be very slow. However on this course fantastic views while you wait.

Really enjoyed the day, but as I played alone and hired a buggy I felt the buggy cost was expensive £40

Cadrona

The course was in good condition and withstood the recent heavy rain which contributed to some greens being slow for summer time . Enjoyed my round of golf while managing to avoid the thick heavy rough, most of the time !

Beautiful course

The course is in excellent condition. Changeable weather made the course relatively challenging. The upkeep is excellent and the staff very helpful. Travelled over 2 hours to to play, and it was well worth it. I will be back very soon.

Cardrona Great Layout

Booked and played before a hotel stay . Friendly staff in the pro shop and spikes bar . 2nd time playing fantastic layout . Was however pretty disappointed in the condition. The semi rough and bunkers in particular. Would give it another go at some point views and layout are heard to beat !

Enjoyable and testing layout

Used to play this course regularly, glad to see that it’s back in good condition. Only a few soft/wet patches on 7, 17 and 18 fairways (Despite all the rain over the last few months). All the tee boxes and greens were in good condition. Always enjoyed the lay out. Practice area needs money spent on it. No nets, range is closed and putting green needs a bit of work.
