Long, wide and scenic
Friendly staff member pointed out the course layout and the map near the 1st tee, and suggested taking a photo of it. As he implied, not really necessary, course well enough signposted. Lovely autumnal day, course in good condition even after heavy overnight rain, with occasional puddles. A few quirky holes, with most long, straight and tree lined. Not too busy, but being a twosome, caught up with a couple of friendly foursomes who let us through at sensible points. Not much over 3 hours for two reasonably fit 70+ golfers. Disappointed not to have time to stop for refreshments in the lounge afterwards. Lovely day out.
Fantastic round!
Great round with very helpful staff. Course was immaculate and signage/amenities clear. Lovely ruined building at around hole 13 was a highlight
Excellent course
Excellent course well maintained greens friendly Staff and freindly green keepers cracking day
Great condition
The course took some bad weather at the beginning of September and fairways and greens were below usual standard. However playing today found the greens true and faster than other courses I have played in the last month. Bunkers looking much better and the spraying for worm casts has paid off. Feels like it’s June rather than nearly the end of September with the course quality. Well worth a visit if you get a chance.
Lovely Parkland course
Course is flattish ascending gradually. A good course, Tricky par threes. Fairways a little long. Greens likewise. It was a Monday so Green staff probably hadn't got around to cutting. However the final half dozen holes are excellent. Challenging and need to think about your placing of the ball.
Good practice facilities Range, chipping green and putting green. Professional very welcoming
I will play again when in the area. Really enjoyed the course. Historical Temple
Great Course, Great Value
Really enjoyable course, challenging but fair. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Club shop staff were friendly and gave plenty advice on how to play the course.
Good layout but needs work
The pace of play and layout were good but the greens and fairways weren’t in great shape. I’m from Canada and the greens appeared like ours would in April or May not in September. Reading putts on the greens was next to impossible as they were either bouncing or moving erratically depending on what hole it hit on the green.
Fairway
The grass on the fairways was a bit long they could have done with a cut. Unfortunately there were a lot of pitch marks on the greens just a shame player's didn't repair them as they played it really helps the course. We were happy with our day out there.
Good course
Great & interesting track, deceivingly good greens. Play was slow on a busy night, course was jammed.
