Great condition
The course took some bad weather at the beginning of September and fairways and greens were below usual standard. However playing today found the greens true and faster than other courses I have played in the last month. Bunkers looking much better and the spraying for worm casts has paid off. Feels like it’s June rather than nearly the end of September with the course quality. Well worth a visit if you get a chance.
Lovely Parkland course
Course is flattish ascending gradually. A good course, Tricky par threes. Fairways a little long. Greens likewise. It was a Monday so Green staff probably hadn't got around to cutting. However the final half dozen holes are excellent. Challenging and need to think about your placing of the ball.
Good practice facilities Range, chipping green and putting green. Professional very welcoming
I will play again when in the area. Really enjoyed the course. Historical Temple
Great Course, Great Value
Really enjoyable course, challenging but fair. Fairways and greens were in great condition. Club shop staff were friendly and gave plenty advice on how to play the course.
Good layout but needs work
The pace of play and layout were good but the greens and fairways weren’t in great shape. I’m from Canada and the greens appeared like ours would in April or May not in September. Reading putts on the greens was next to impossible as they were either bouncing or moving erratically depending on what hole it hit on the green.
Fairway
The grass on the fairways was a bit long they could have done with a cut. Unfortunately there were a lot of pitch marks on the greens just a shame player's didn't repair them as they played it really helps the course. We were happy with our day out there.
Good course
Great & interesting track, deceivingly good greens. Play was slow on a busy night, course was jammed.
Summer golf
Great to play Haddington on a nice sunny day. Greens rolling true at a good speed (11). Bunkers far better and the potholes on the entry road are now fixed so no more driving to the club hazards :).
If you have not played the course now is the time with some cheap deals in the afternoon.
The course was very fair to our 1st time there
Excellent shop staff. Friendly members. Course in great nick. Would definitely play there again.
Steady as she goes
Lovely, peaceful setting just a par 5 from the town centre. Greens a little bumpy but generally in very good condition. Not too busy and no-one pushing or slow.
Nice place.
Nice course. Pity the kitchen had closed early as would have liked some food when coming off course.
Greens and bunkers much improved.
On reviewing someone else’s comments when they played in the middle of the worst winter in around 10 years, thought I would post some photos of the greens and bunkers that they moaned about.
