About
Marshall Canyon Golf Course is nestled within the scenic foothills that overlook La Verne. The course is seemingly short at 6,110 yards from the back tees but it's not to be underestimated. The hilly terrain provides more than enough uneven lies and blind shots. The fast greens are also some of the toughest in the area but they are nicely balanced by wide, player-friendly fairways. The hard-to-read greens have subtle but tricky breaks that get easier once you've played the golf course before but even then, they still present some challenges. Marshall Canyon is a local favorite not only for the challenging round but also because it's a good value with great scenery. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and will often catch a glimpse of the many deer that roam the course.

Like the course......too many of 90 degree doglegs which I don’t really like, but does change things up a bit. Greens were pretty slow but fair..

Marshall Canyon Golf Course
The course was in good shape, weather was cool and damp in the first nine holes finally warmed up a bit on the back nine. Club house and facilities are undergoing a lot of construction/updating so not a lot to report there. Greens, fairways and tee boxes in pretty good shape for a public course! Lots of deer and wildlife around, fun place to play.

Great day of golf
Played on Memorial Day- course was in great shape and offered a fun track. Not crazy difficult but enough elevation, blind shots and hazards to keep it interesting. Remodel happening at the clubhouse- don’t expect much in the way of amenities and the temporary bathrooms were in pretty bad shape.
Group in front of me played really slow, I jumped them at 14 but otherwise it would have been a 5+hour round. Lots of unrepaired ball marks on greens, with the price I’m assuming a lot of new golfers getting out there. Come on people. I
For the price I found it to be a great value. I’ll be back.

Will play again
Course is in very good conditions... well maintained... has a couple of challenging holes.. the front nine pace was good but the back were too slow. A foursome was delaying the whole course pace.. I highly recommend having a marshals verifying course pace ..

Great course
This course was challenging but not to the point where it was discouraging. Great for groups. Pace was well kept. Marshall’s came around a few times to check on pace. Great scenery around the course plus the wildlife.

Beautiful Course, Lots of Deer
The course was in a beautiful setting, lots of deer and wildlife. Played front nine in 1:40 minutes, back nine was close to 3 hours. Not sure why the delay but at one time 3 groups waiting to tee off.
Despite the pace on back nine, would definitely play again.
