About
Marshall Canyon Golf Course is nestled within the scenic foothills that overlook La Verne. The course is seemingly short at 6,110 yards from the back tees but it's not to be underestimated. The hilly terrain provides more than enough uneven lies and blind shots. The fast greens are also some of the toughest in the area but they are nicely balanced by wide, player-friendly fairways. The hard-to-read greens have subtle but tricky breaks that get easier once you've played the golf course before but even then, they still present some challenges. Marshall Canyon is a local favorite not only for the challenging round but also because it's a good value with great scenery. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and will often catch a glimpse of the many deer that roam the course.

Beautiful Course, Lots of Deer
The course was in a beautiful setting, lots of deer and wildlife. Played front nine in 1:40 minutes, back nine was close to 3 hours. Not sure why the delay but at one time 3 groups waiting to tee off.
Despite the pace on back nine, would definitely play again.

Course Marshall
The marshall was extremely rude dealing with my friend. About an area that has not been marked that far up the hill at #8 for years.

May - Marshall Canyon
This is a great course, challenging holes, greens in great condition. There was a 5-some walking, 2 4-some walking a few groups ahead of cart riders, time to figure that out, groups ahead of our 4-Some’s and 3-some cart riders. Not in a hurry but made for a lot slower round. Not much for clubhouse, snack bar - “ under construction.”

Nice Course!
Great layout. Course is in good shape. Some dry spots but with all the golf being played recently, it’s expected for a public course. Greens are a challenge. Good scenery with the mountains close and deer roaming the course.

Hidden Gem
If you don’t know how to get there you will probably make a wrong turn. Very fun course with challenging greens. The wild life on the course definitely helps pass the time for the slow pace of play. The staff and amenities are well above average.
