Sun Village Golf Course
About
Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Excellent Executive Course
This is an excellent executive course for new players, older players that want to scale back from a full course or for anyone that wants to sharpen their short game. The course was well laid out for walking and is in excellent shape. It played fast and had no hidden hazards. I used 5 different clubs plus a putter so it created some strategy. I'd suggest using a spotting scope if you have one as some of the yardages were a bit different than the card or the markers on the tee box. I will definitely be playing this course again and bringing fellow golfers.
Great hidden gem
Other than figuring out how to get from 2 to 3 and 4 and from 11 to 12, this is a great little course. To the local that asked to play through, and had to be educated that 1) we weren’t slowing up play and 2) you were asked when we tee’d off if you wanted to join us, grow up. We finished the front 9, had a snack, went to the bathroom, tee’d off on the 10th as a 3-some and you walk up from the 9th asking to play through. No sir…we weren’t going slow and asking us to wait for you…who was clearly playing slower than our 3-some as a single, was not appropriate.
We’ll be back.
It was a great day
My son hit a hole in one on 9 and we celebrated with the Fire dept, lights and sirens made it special! 🍾 Thanks guys
Yes, it’s the middle of August and hotter than the sun itself. But this was a fun little par three. I was the only one on the course so naturally pace of play was, well, at my pace.
I got to tell ya though, the greens were in great shape. Clearly that’s where the club has its attention. Tee boxes were fine and what I guess you would consider “fairways” were what they were. Bermuda trying it’s best to stay alive in this heat with minimal maintenance.
But overall great little course and the gentleman working the club house was very friendly and did his best to help me navigate my way through the course. No question I’ll be back!!
Fun par 3 course
This course is great to dial in your short iron and wedge play. Has bunkers and water to navigate around. It’s always in great shape in my opinion. Staff has always been welcoming.
Fun par 3 course
Beautiful greens and a couple rough tee boxes but no big deal. Fun to stretch the legs and slap the green with a PW all day
I’ll be back.
Great par 3 golf course. Fun layout, in very satisfactory condition.
Short game tune up
Needed to work on my short game accuracy, this course is perfect for that.
I'll be back
Super fun par 3 course. plenty of challenge. played 18 holes in 2 hours. Great!
Really enjoy this course
This layout has helped me zero in my short irons. I have been able to transfer the info learned on this course to regulation courses, which have cut a number of shots I have to hit. I try to play this course at least once a week.
Great or 3 course
My dad and I played the front 9 today for the first time. Just getting back into golf and this was a perfect balance of challenging and fun. The course is well maintained and the bunkers have actual sand in them. Will definitely play this again and will play all 18 next time.
