Good for back 9
Uneven tee boxes, patchy fairways, manageable rough, consistent medium fast greens. At least there are open restrooms every 4-5 holes.
Nice little South bay track
The fairways are forgiving (wide)
Tee box ball style yardage markers in the middle of fairways
Par 3’s are well protected by bunkers, false fronts, and raised greens
Sparse trees on the course to block the wind, makes attacking flags challenging in a fun way
Very walkable course, minus the little valleys that dip like 10ft for drainage in the fairways
There’s a taco stand that sets up right outside the parking lot around 5? that had a good crowd, didn’t try it myself but maybe next time
Critiques/Suggestions
The carts are old school no gps, bring one or a range finder
Bare spots/patches in some of the fairways
Some of the greens are cratered with pitch marks and unnatural bumps to throw your ball offline
Watch out for the squirrels they will take your food, group ahead of me dropped an unopened brand new kimbap package in the rough, i grabbed it to try and give it back to them when we’d meet at the green or next tee box but the squirrel straight up grabbed it out of my push cart while i was hitting a shot and ran off with the whole thing.

Enjoyable course
I enjoyed playing 18 holes here. The course could be in better condition, but it has a good layout and was fun to play.

It’s getting pretty sloppy over here.
I love the course and play there whenever I can, but between water conservation ( which I support) and the completely unregulated pace of play it becomes difficult to play a normal round. The tendency of some players to hit multiple balls when others are waiting behind them and to idle in the fairways when the green in front of them is open is extremely disruptive to the person who abides by the rules. To say nothing of totally inappropriate cart parking (nearly on the green in some cases).
To be fair, these problems plague virtually all of the public courses in Los Angeles County, but it bothers me more as
this is what I consider to be my home course.
Bunkers
I like to play early mornings. Why are the grounds keepers WATERING THE BUNKERS? BUNKERS turn into like dirt/mud!!! Oh, and less hard pan area's around the green, please.
Alondra golf is worst course in town.
The grass condition is so bad and the parking lot is not safe. My friend's car broke into a thief and big damaged to the new car.
Finally the ball is so old on the golf practice range that it is annoying.

Course conditions are horrible. Greens were like carpet. Dirt patches everywhere and the grass that was there needed to be cut. Greens and areas around it were soaking wet. Also tee’d off at 8:30 n they were out of carts. Had to ride with a stranger
