South Par 3 at Alondra Park Golf Course

The course was very muddy. The greens were like pavement. Hard and unforgiving.

Had the opportunity to jump on the regulation course. Some parties cancelled so we took the 9am opening. Pace was good, but we picked up our ball on two holes after we had gone 2-3 strokes over to keep moving. Finished all 18 in about 3-3.5 hours. Nice course, hole 2 and 15 are tough.

The hitting mats are in terrible condition and need to be replaced. The course has several muddy spots. The course is not monitored/marshaled well. Twice ( on hole 10 and hole 15) individuals that were not playing the course tried to jump in front of my twosome. Each time, I had to handle it myself and the individuals that attempted to sneak on the course had the audacity to be rude toward me for not letting them jump in front of me.

I like to work on my short game on the par-three at Alondra; I was happy to see the grass being healthy and the greens have an updated had a nice roll and was very excited that my chips were sticking

I play here since it’s close. Not hard to get on. Biggest issue is there are several groups that have obviously not hit the driving range in a while. Pace of play can be very slow. Having said that it’s a great place to learn on AFTER you’ve taken lessons and been to the driving range. It has mats at tee boxes ( not new ones) or you can find a grass patch. Note that the greens are tiny tiny tiny which requires some control when you tee off. As a beginner I appreciate that most of the players here are beginner to international players.

Great value for the money. Nice place to get in some short iron and short game work. Greens are very average but pristine greens is asking a lot for a cheap 18 holes of three par. I skipped a group of five early, had no waiting on every tee and I played single, often hitting more than one ball on each hole. Like I said. On a slow day? Great place for short iron/short game practice.

That 5 some in front of us slow down whole freaking course!

You shouldn't let them play 5 some

Green conditions are very bad. Course rayout is kinda mess and very hard to find next hole. Overall, the whole course are not managed well. But good course for beginner to practice.
