Nice course in great condition just now. Greens good and course layout much better than I had expected. Well worth a round and great value for a tenner.

The course used to be known for being wet but they have improved.

We played a bounce game there on a Wednesday and considering the deluge we've had of late the greens are in great condition.

Another plus, only 1 of them was a winter green!!

Some work being carried out as we played on the paths and a new tee box but the ground staff were mindful and didn't interrupt play

Enjoyed and will definitely go back, great value!

Played the course today and it was in great condition for time of year. Really windy so it was a good test. Great layout and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.

Left disappointed by Crow Wood today. Unfortunately I was caught behind a meadow from the first tee and after catching the guys up - instead of offering to play through, one member bitterly suggested that I skip the hole to avoid being slowed up. Clearly had a bee (or a tee) in his bonnet and it did not make me feel very welcome as a non-member. Course condition was fine, but others in close proximity offer better value for money imo. Will not be back in a hurry.

Easy to get around and not many blind holes.greens were very good.

This course is easy to walk and a joy to play,nchallenging without being overwhelming. Theres no tricked up holes the course is laid out in front of you. Conditions were excellent when i played and the greens were true and well paced.

A very cold morning after heavy overnight rain, so the course was not looking its best. The layout is excellent, in particular the par 3s, which we found to be long (high handicap). Once the warmer weather arrives, the course will look and play better. Only negative, there was no water in any of the ball washers.

We played crow Wood on a cold but dry day. The course was pretty quiet but in good condition. The holes are a good mix of lengths. Some of the par 4s are long and challenging when the wind is in your face especially the 11. There’s a wee burn meandering through the course so beware. It was a great day and being local I will be back soon. The pro shop is well stocked and the staff friendly. I would recommend crow wood to fellow golfers for a challenging round of golf

I left my local club at the end of 2018 as I was a bit disillusioned with golf. Today was my first game for 3 months. Crow Wood was a good place to start back. I had expected tight fairways with trees causing mayhem, but was very pleasantly surprised at the forgiveness. There has been a lot of rain recently and there has been work on the greens so it is not at its best. I would like to return in summer and I think that it will be good. As Bill Shankly said after Ajax beat Liverpool 5-1 - "ah but we have the measure of them now!" (They lost the return 2-1). I think that I will do much better next time. I felt welcome.

Played for the second time as the course is in great condition. Slow play but we weren’t too bothered as weather was nice.

Staff very helpful and clubhouse was busy.

We will be back.

I've played this course a few times hoping it gets better as Im local to it.

To be honest, could be good with proper drainage. Could be, but isnt. That simple.

Course in great condition,greens play slower than they look, very nice layout not too hilly and very generous fairways. Staff very friendly and helpful.

First time playing it and not the last.

Just getting back into the game after a year off. The course was ideal for me as it has generous fairways and large well kept greens. Pace of play could have been better but a 4 ball of senior players held us up a little which did not unduly bother us. Great course in overall excellent condition and great value for money. We will be back.

Inspite of bad weather, course played well with some patchy flooding after constant rain. Overall course was in good condition although there were some poor areas between greens and next tees which looked like it needed some work. Staff extremely friendly and well worth a visit.
