Crow Wood Golf Club

Without doubt the worst greens I've putted on in over 30 years playing golf...huge mud patches all over the course as well...a decent layout but the condition is shocking.

Have to take preferred lies on the Greens..no GUR marked anywhere.. broken bridge's..litter.. Absolute shocker

i liked this course very much. it is ideal for a short hitter. i will join this club next year i think. big hitters, may prefer, a stiffer test.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Course itself was in great condition especially the greens. Challenging but fair.

I found this course well layed out fairly level for the elderly or infirm but extremely waterlogged after 4 days of rain , I thought of a great battle fighting dog legs and creeping past well layed out bunkers .

I would certainly play this again but after a dry spell that's for sure .

The members were very friendly and welcoming and that included the staff wee came across.

I would rate the meal a big fat 9 out of 10 . Steak pie n veg were perfectly cooked .

Booked through hot deal for £18.

Very well presented course with a great variety of holes.

Enjoyable course. Wide fairways, which are in excellent condition, can be quite forgiving for a beginner which definitely helped me! My local course so will be back more over the course of the year.

Nice course in great condition just now. Greens good and course layout much better than I had expected. Well worth a round and great value for a tenner.

The course used to be known for being wet but they have improved.

We played a bounce game there on a Wednesday and considering the deluge we've had of late the greens are in great condition.

Another plus, only 1 of them was a winter green!!

Some work being carried out as we played on the paths and a new tee box but the ground staff were mindful and didn't interrupt play

Played the course today and it was in great condition for time of year. Really windy so it was a good test. Great layout and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.

Left disappointed by Crow Wood today. Unfortunately I was caught behind a meadow from the first tee and after catching the guys up - instead of offering to play through, one member bitterly suggested that I skip the hole to avoid being slowed up. Clearly had a bee (or a tee) in his bonnet and it did not make me feel very welcome as a non-member. Course condition was fine, but others in close proximity offer better value for money imo. Will not be back in a hurry.

Easy to get around and not many blind holes.greens were very good.

This course is easy to walk and a joy to play,nchallenging without being overwhelming. Theres no tricked up holes the course is laid out in front of you. Conditions were excellent when i played and the greens were true and well paced.
