NoI’m be course for the money

Dalmilling golf course is great for the money, £24 at the time, its well maintained and recently had drainage works done which has helped a lot and added a new hazard to the par 5 1 at hole which adds to interest of the hole. Over all a nice course with some challenging holes. Would be nice to have better warm up facilities (nets) there is a nice putting green however no chipping area.

Layout

Good standard for a council course but the signage for layout should be much better. Quite difficult to find the right layout

First time at dalmilling.

This could never be classed as a championship course but considering the amount of land available, the layout is good.

It is very good value for money.

Better tee markers with yardages would be appreciated.

Green staff seemed to be very active and the course was well maintained.

Ideal for someone wanting a good but not very difficult challenge.

Nice to see a good number of juniors on the course.

Hmmm yea but...

Hmmm if it wasn't for the litter and the pikeys all over the course it would not be a bad course. Interesting and in good condition.

Nice course, good value for money, worth a visit.

I read the previous reviews and ignored the negative ones and gave it a try. GLAD we did. Found the course interesting in two parts. First part parkland type whilst second part up down and across hill side. Found the fairways fairly generous and greens in good condition. Very little littler about and saw green keepers pit picking up litter from around the course. Yes there are we a few dog walkers but those we saw we around the paths on the outside of the course. We had previously played the days before Seafield and Belisle which were double the price. We enjoyed this one every bit as much. Good value for money and worth a round.

People sneaking onto course and holding play up is always an issue at this course.

Greens really bumpy and unmaintained

No rakes in bunkers so chances are you are in foot prints or worse

There's a reason it's the cheapest course around here

Brilliant hidden gem

Staying at Craig Tara, we were looking for a decent, reasonably priced golf course nearby and this was absolutely the right place to play! Great hole variety, the staff are friendly and greens are really well kept. Absolutely recommend.

Excellent municipal course

First time playing Dalmilling and found the course excellent. Well laid out to give variety on every hole. Greens very well maintained compared to some other municipal courses in the area. Wish I had gotten the name of the starter he was very friendly and gave me information on the course.

The par 3 6th with its green surrounded by a burn was a definite highlight
