Belleisle Park - Seafield

About
Seafield Golf Club is an 18-hole cliff-top parkland golf course built to take advantage of the natural surroundings. The golf course was designed by Peter McEvoy and opened in 2003.
Seafield's mature woodlands and water hazards of the front nine are in stark contrast to the long fairways, crosswinds and bunkers through the back nine down toward the sea and the stunning cliff-top tees on the 11th and 17th holes. The 425-yard 18th brings play back to the panoramic views from the Seafield clubhouse.

Nice Course
The course was in really good condition and a challenge for all levels - will be back
Sold as if it’s a private course
Wayyyy over priced for what you get. Pace of play from players on course was extremely slow
Decent course but very short
A very good quality golf course however even playing off the whites it’s only a par 68 and 5450 yards unlike what it is advertised at.
Good wee round of golf 74 blows inv. the rain
Course held up well to the rain was still enjoyable despite the weather
Enjoyed the Course only problem is the car parking
Good, Well Maintainer Course
Overall a good course. Some holes are a little repetitive on the same area of land but plenty of different challenges elsewhere. Greens are in good condition, fairways need a bit of work.
A good open course suitable for all levels
A nice sunny afternoon getting round in 3 hours for a 2 ball. A lot of the long rough has been shortened which opens the holes up a bit and gives you more options some nice renovations including new footbridges and good social distancing measures in place.
NICE DAY OUT AT THE SEAFIELD COURSE
DESPITE THE RAINY WEATHER IN THE PAST WEEK THE COURSE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND THE GREENS ARE VERY GOOD. THE MAINTENANCE IS PAYING OFF AND WE DIDN‘T MIND TO PLAY FROM FORWARD TEES TO ALLOW THE ORIGINAL TEE BOXES TO RECOVER AND GET READY FOR THE SPRING AND SUMMER SEASON. WE‘LL BE BACK FOR SURE.
A wonderful experience out at the park
The course is very attractif and a pleasure to play. The Layout is beautiful. I played with a high handicapper and she enjoyed the learning experience on this short course. We’ll come back and play here anytime
Sea field experience
A pleasant shortish course set in parkland. Tee boxes were in poor condition, fairways good, small greens in reasonable condition. This course is busy and the heavy traffic has contributed to state of tees. Nevertheless my wife & I enjoyed this pleasant course just outside Ayr.
A Perfect Day
Played here during a touring caravan holiday partnered by my lady wife. Having paid a very reasonable green fee I was concerned that the course might not be up to much. How wrong could I be! While this was by no means a championship course it was well laid out and offered many challenges. There were no par 5s but the par 3's and 4s were excellent. One thing I particularly liked was the fact that the course opens with 5 parkland type holes. These are followed by 8 links style holes and the last 5 are back to parkland. My wife, who only plays casually, said this was the best round of golf she had ever experienced. For myself I found the course very well looked after with fairways and greens in excellent condition. Off course the welcome in the clubhouse and pro's shop was first class and the small cafe served excellent coffee afterwards. We'll be back on our next visit to the area.
